On September 5, Witkoff and Kushner held a five-hour meeting with Dmitriev in Moscow, at a restaurant bearing the telling slogan «Всё для победы» (“Everything for Victory”).
Trump’s special envoy Witkoff and Kushner are certainly doing their part to live up to that slogan.
This meeting will go down in history as a separate deal between the US and the Kremlin, in which the Trump administration lost the last remnants of its civility.

In just two days, russia killed 78 people in Ukraine. 78 lives lost in 48 hours. Among those killed were children. Some were just one year old.
More than 200 others were injured.
People were killed in their homes, on public transport, simply going about their day.
And then people wonder why Ukrainians don’t want to normalize relations with russia. Why they don’t want to see russians casually vacationing across Europe, enjoying the peace, freedom, and comforts of everyday life while their country continues to destroy Ukraine.

This is a 29-year-old journalist, Mariya Yizhvenko, she was killed in a Russian strike on a business center in Kyiv yesterday 💔🕯
Her death was shared by her husband, combat medic Danylo Yivzhenko, and her former colleague Oleksandra Nekrashchuk.
Danylo shared that he and his wife were actively planning for their future. Late last year, they took out a mortgage to buy an apartment, and they were planning to have a child this winter.
"Masha is dead. I lost a friend, a girlfriend, a wife, and the mother of my future children—who will now never be born. Masha was wonderful, intelligent, and deeply patriotic. She was my voice of reason and the embodiment of care," Danylo wrote.

According to section 7.1 of the official tournament rulebook recipients of the prize money will pay around 30% of the earnings directly to the budget of the russian federation.
Russian federation is a terrorist country and for more than 4.5 years russia is waging a full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine. And the russian budget is being used to fund this war.
I don't think esports teams and players looking for VRS points should be used to fund russian war crimes. This precedent is very disturbing.

Even though the Games of the Future are not taking place in russia this year, war criminal russian president vladimir putin still recorded a video message for the tournament's participants.
This fact once again highlights that this tournament series, founded in russia, is not aimed at developing new sports. Its all about normalizing russia's reputation on the international stage. Terrorist state created and funds these competitions so russians cannot be disqualified or forced to compete under a neutral status. russia spends insane amounts of money to lure sports and esports stars for whom paycheck is more valuable than morals.
