I was so happy to be asked by @yvettejaa to fill in these recipes cards for a photoshoot she was doing for her new recipe box tutorial. The final images look amazing!
I’ve been a little bookbinding machine this week.
Here’s the last of a batch of coptic + French link bindings about to go into the press for a big ole nap over the weekend.
They are heading to @QueensHall next week and will be available to purchase from their box office.
It’s co-working day tomorrow and I’ll be binding books in the white room. Really looking forward to seeing you there!

But first, how many pencils can you fit in here with the lid closed? I’ll give you a prize if you guess correctly!

Our second week of #bookbinding with @yvettejaa and my Thursday group managed (eventually - it’s tricky) to get to grips with coptic stitch to put the signatures (pages) we made last week together.

It was my Friday group’s turn to get stitching with @yvettejaa today as we continue our #bookbinding sessions. We’re taking inspiration this term from the Lindisfarne Gospels currently on show at the @LaingArtGallery in Newcastle. #calligraphy

My Friday group completed their #bookbinding adventures with @yvettejaa today as part of our #InspiredbyLindisfarne project. Everyone was thrilled with how their A6 creations turned out. 📚
No one really talks about that feeling when you take a load of your crap to the charity shop and then leg it in case they want to give it back to you.
Just wrote and submitted my first arts application in 3 years and now I miss the pandemic. A simpler time…
