🟨 After the CLARITY Act stalled in the Senate, the SEC is moving ahead with tokenized equities.
Just days after Congress failed to advance broader digital-asset market structure legislation, the SEC introduced a five-year Innovation Exemption allowing eligible venues to trade tokenized versions of U.S.-listed equities onchain.
The framework requires tokenized shares to preserve the same rights as their traditional counterparts, including dividends and voting rights, while issuers retain the right to object.
SEC Chair Paul Atkins explicitly linked the move to Congress’ failure to advance CLARITY, positioning the exemption as an interim path while longer-term rules are developed.

🟨 Anthropic could publicly file for IPO as soon as this month
According to Bloomberg, Anthropic is preparing to make its IPO filing public by the end of August, giving markets their first detailed look at its financials.
The Claude maker is now running the numbers on what could become a record-breaking offering, with Anthropic expecting to match or exceed the size of SpaceX’s IPO.
