This is exactly how it feels to have a child. For me at least. I have two. One started secondary school this year. And I simply don’t get how, because I barely feel like an adult?

Xennials. We are Xennials. The end of Gen X and the beginning the Millennials. We are in our 40s and think we are still 20, which is a problem when your back randomly locks up. We can name most songs from the 80s to about 10 yrs ago. We still think the 80s was only 20 yrs ago.

Swiftification of pop is where people look for easter eggs that reveal hidden meanings about the singer’s personal life. It hobbles artists who are trying to tell more universal stories, and it juices up conspiracy theorists. I am envious of fanbases who haven’t succumbed to it
