BREAKING: 🇸🇪 Swedish grocery giant ICA, one of Sweden's largest supermarket chains, says several of its stores have been hit by a cyberattack overnight, causing refrigerators and freezers to be remotely set to 50°C.
The incident has likely resulted in large quantities of food spoiling. Multiple stores, including ICA Kvantum in Sjöbo and Tomelilla, have reported being affected.
ICA says stores will remain closed during the morning and are expected to reopen at 9:00 a.m. Swedish time.
The company has apologized to customers and says it is working to restore normal operations.
The incident comes amid a wave of cyberattacks targeting businesses recent weeks, following similar incidents reported in France and the United States.

❗️ A Dutch Starlink user says he got a Paramount piracy notice within two days of torrenting a single episode of Dexter: Resurrection.
Starlink forwarded it with a warning that further downloads could get his service suspended or terminated and put him at risk of legal action.
He says 24 years of torrenting had never brought him a single notice before. In the Netherlands, the Supreme Court ruled in 2021 that a major ISP did not have to hand alleged pirates' details to a film distributor. So the user thought he was safe.
Starlink, a US company bound by the DMCA, has said it is obliged to pass such notices on.
Thai mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) White Space (#PenguinSIM) has re-launched to target B2B clients, breaking an operational pause that had seen the MVNO remain idle since August 2025 alongside the rest of Thailand’s stagnant #MVNO market.

Police arrested a director of Taobao (Thailand) Co Ltd in Bangkok on November 1 over alleged unlicensed payment and currency-exchange services, reporting more than 170 million baht in transactions through five related accounts over a year.
Investigators allege the company’s Fupay and Taobao Thailand websites offered yuan exchange, transfers into Alipay and electronic wallets for purchases from Chinese shopping platforms.
Police also reported transactions totalling more than 270,000 baht linking two of the accounts to accounts used in cybercrime, and urged the public to use licensed financial service providers.

Lithuanian police say arson attacks targeting Starlink equipment in Lithuania, Poland, and Bulgaria are linked.
Two suspects have been identified in the attempted arson at a Vilnius site on the night of October 18. One holds Turkish and German citizenship, the other Serbian and German.
The two men are also suspected of involvement in the attacks in Bulgaria. Different individuals were involved in Poland, but they are linked to the same group.
"We see direct links between these individuals and the incidents. They are all connected to one another," said Saulius Briginas, deputy head of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau.
The suspects are under investigation for terrorism-related offenses, including involvement in an organized terrorist group. Possible links to Russia are also being investigated.

In Bulgaria, near Sofia, two masked individuals set fire to 11 of the 17 SpaceX antennas providing Starlink connectivity.
According to Bulgarian MP Ivaylo Mirchev, these stations provided backbone connectivity to satellites, including for Ukraine.
Mirchev called on the security services and the Interior Ministry to explain what had happened:
"It was no coincidence that these particular antennas were set on fire. They provide the backbone communications link to these satellites. The same thing happened to similar antennas in Poland at the end of September."
Bulgarian PM Rumen Radev refused to disclose details of the suspected arson, citing the ongoing investigation, BNR News reports.
The Interior Ministry said that security at similar facilities had already been stepped up.
