Conduit 3 sneak peek: your iPhone becomes a #ROS2 robot console. 🤖
→ Drive a robot through its own camera
→ Move a robot arm by moving your phone
In 3.0 every feature unlocks for everyone. Own any in-app purchase before it ships? Conduit Plus is yours forever! #ConduitROS

For the arm demo, I used the @makermodsai Maker Arm custom ros2_control implementation.

I'm expecting the actual hardware soon, and I'm really looking forward to running demos on it.

Introducing Embodied First Exam:
One line of code to run coding agents in 1,090 embodied tasks across 31 simulation suites and 44 robots.
Can your agent go far beyond pick-and-place:
Puzzles with spatial constraints;
Olympic sports with multi-robot collab;
Real-time eval, where the world won't pause;
Dynamic, agile, whole-body control;
AutoResearch with sim2sim
Try your own agent:
harbor run -d embodied-first-exam -a -m
We built a robotics data engine with Astra-level performance at 125x lower cost. And we are open-sourcing the weights today! Introducing Flora, a suite of open models to parse the physical world and turn raw footage into rich training signals.
Flora already powers our in-house data engine, labeling 200K hours of videos a day on 500 GPUs. We created it to scale the frontier for robot learning. Now you own the weights too.
Flora gives you:
- High-quality, timestamped captions to curate and filter human egocentric and robot data;
- Dense progress rewards for quality control and RL post-training;
- Rubrics scoring for real-world benchmarking
Try it today, links in thread:

We launched OSS Scanner, which gives critical open source projects free, periodic vulnerability scans from our strongest models.
Each finding includes a proof-of-concept, and a patch where possible.

Today, Dream Labs is coming out of stealth with Dream-1, a robot foundation model that controls bimanual robots it has never seen, on tasks it was never shown, in places it has never been, from $3/hour.
Dream API is live for everyone, today. 🧵

Join us for our monthly #ROS By-The-Bay meetup at the new @IntrinsicAI office this Thursday!
Our guest speakers will be @youtalk, who will discuss swift-ros2, Davis Foster, co-founder of @AgencyToolCo (OTA robot updates), and Jose Diaz, co-founder of Thrust Robotics.
⬇️⬇️
Thursday at ROS By-The-Bay @IntrinsicAI I'll show iPhone, iPad and Mac joining a #ROS2 graph. No bridge.
The library behind it just shipped: swift-ros2 v3.
Native Swift over Zenoh or DDS: topics, services, actions, parameters. Verified live on Humble, Jazzy, Kilted and Lyrical.
New in 3.0:
• Own org, 3 packages mirroring upstream: rosidl, the runtime, common_interfaces
• Every common_interfaces message generated from IDL
• Services/actions interoperate with rmw_zenoh and rmw_cyclonedds
• iOS, macOS, visionOS, Linux, Windows, Android
The milestone behind it: since 2.0, swift-ros2 runs on the real ROS 2 stack, upstream rcl + rmw_zenoh_cpp / rmw_cyclonedds_cpp, prebuilt for Apple from Lyrical. The pure-Swift wire path stays as the fallback.

We trained π0.5 for 8 hours on 4× H100, streaming a 10.7 TB dataset straight from the Hub.
Time spent waiting for data: 0.52% of step time.
No full download first.
Just add --dataset.streaming=true

Interested in writing iOS apps that interface with #ROS?
Our colleague Yutaka from @tier_iv_japan will be joining us next Thursday for ROS By-The-Bay to discuss swift-ros2 and his new #ConduitROS application.
I'm speaking at ROS By-The-Bay on Oct 22 at @IntrinsicAI HQ in Mountain View! 🎤
I'll introduce swift-ros2, a native ROS 2 client library for Swift built on rcl, plus #ConduitROS, and give a live demo of iPhone, iPad, and Mac talking to Linux ROS 2 nodes.
