How to: Perfect Borders
1) Add inner border to parent element
2) Use up arrow to increase size until border touches child (pro-tip: use a color that doesn’t match your design so it’s easy to see)
3) Adjust child border radius until it matches
4) Remove border from parent
5) Done

A novel approach for making smooth, perceptually uniform multi-color linear gradients: interpolate with a 3D Catmull-Rom spline through L*a*b* color space.
Top: typical 3- or 4-color linear gradients
Bottom: spline interpolated gradients
@figmadesign I love you, but whatever change you made not long ago that causes underlying frames to swallow elements as you drag them is 100% infuriating. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

Hey @uber. This is a pretty shitty dark pattern you’ve got. The button looks disabled even when the form is filled out and pressing enter inside the field does not submit the form.
Dear industrial designers, can we all just agree that shiny black plastic is not a material that should ever be considered for use? Trying to clean it with anything other than magic results in scratches which makes it look awful. Thanks.
Hey @figmadesign I’ve got a running list of wishlist items. Are any of these already available and I’ve missed them? Or are any of them on the roadmap?
Also, Figma is easily the best UI design tool I’ve ever used. Super stoked to get our team fully switched over.
If you’re a designer making decisions that don’t ladder up to, as Maeda puts it, “…making great products that solve people’s problems,” you’re not designing. You’re just making pretty pixels. Designers should fight for the user, not design for designers.

I really wish @figmadesign had been this good 2 years ago. Looking like my team is about to recreate all of our Sketch files in Figma. The tool is just too good not to… Legit blown away by all the tiny quality of life features I find each day.
