There are times when you think AI has gone too far, but then there are moments when you see Uncle Phil from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air scoring Mesut Özil's goal against Ludogrets, and suddenly it all feels worthwhile.

I’m Gen X. I spent my childhood terrified of quicksand, spontaneous human combustion and the Bermuda Triangle.
Turns out I should’ve been worried about my knees.

Well I’m 63 in a couple of weeks and my next door neighbour who is in his late 70’s just rang the door bell to see if I’m going to the pub for a drink with him. It must be 50 years since someone called to see if I’m playing out. Happy days 😁❤️🥃

A voxpop for the Ages here from @bbcpointswest’s Andy Howard in Swindon, as townsfolk react to being told the town has the best quality of life in the UK.
Every one a potential gif 😂

I lost my Dad on 9/11. I don’t get a lot of reach on here. But I just wanted to share a picture. He was 39. I thought he was old. I’m now in my mid 30s and I still feel like a kid.
He was a great trader. He loved markets. He loved to find a stock no one was talking about.
The first trade I ever placed was on his work computer, where he let me click the button to buy AMAT. I loved going to the office with him. It was electric.
He was the best dad. We spent hours out in the street after dinner where he’d throw “pop flys” for me to catch. Eye on the ball.
He loved watching Sponge Bob and eating cereal, wrestling with us in the living room. He just loved being around his kids so much, and we knew it. I’m so grateful I got a dad like that.
Love you, Pops.

I'm sorry we never got a chance to meet, but getting this note from Dolly really had a an impact on me. She definitely didn't have to take the time to do it. Even for a kid who mostly listened to rap music, she was an icon. A superstar in every sense. Rest easy Dolly. And thank you for the kind words.

Told a guy about how we used to record music off the radio onto cassettes and he looked at me like I saw Lincoln get shot live

I wish I could possess the same calm demeanour as the people who hog the middle lane of the motorway going at 50mph. They look so serene. You glance at their faces and they appear to have not have a care in the world, just staring forward with smug, gormless little smiles. I want that kind of unthinking bliss to find me.

@yourbenpraters My racing snail wasn’t performing at his best, so I took his shell off to see if it might make him go faster. But, if anything, it just made him more sluggish.
First it was radio adverts about the N Haitch S, then came the Haitch MRC end of tax year helpline, and today Haitch B O are selling their sporting wares on my telly. The battle is over. We’ve lost. 😭
In 1833, ships successfully transported ice from Boston to Calcutta, India—a gruelling 4-month journey spanning 16,000 miles. Over 50% of the ice survived the journey intact. So why do I get severe anxiety driving the 2 miles home from Aldi with a pack of Twisters in the boot?
I’ll always be thankful for the couple of seasons @bristolbears tore teams apart in a glorious glorious manner but it never ended in silverware and now this recent shambles surely means it’s time for Lam to go?
