The Chess in Chesham today. Dry from Pednor to Lords Mill, this stretch once supported four water mills, Wrights, Amy, Canada and Lord Mill and watrecress beds. The Chess is why Chesham exists, it was the life blood of the town, part of its DNA.

A number of smaller jobs carried out by @ChilternSociety volunteers this morning in @royal_forestry Hockeridge Woods near #Berkhamsted #Chesham included weeding this Wellingtonia and other young trees, also levelled ground near new access gate.

@WheelhouseVets is delighted to announce our first-ever Hero of the Month award goes to Harvey the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Harvey had life-saving emergency surgery in April with us. Harvey's strength and bravery helped his body to make a remarkable and speedy recovery 🥰🤩
