Does anyone recognize this Kodak wired remote? I can’t figure out what it was used for. It has a 5-pin projector connector on the end of the wire but it does not work with any projector I have. I also don’t recognize that “eye” logo…

I do very want to make a multimedia slide presentation using vintage slide projectors synchronized to music etc but I have no venue to show it, or reason to make it. Maybe I should do a presentation about weird Kodak carousel tech for maker faire.

Starting to think about @kansasfest Hackfest 2024... thinking of working on my "add a proper Apple II slot to my IIc" project so that I can use (amongst other things) the ESP32 Soft Card with it... built in to my IIc... that'd be neat!

I’m a bit late to the party, but the @GravityKillsSTL cover of “Personal Jesus” from 2002 is damn good!👍

If you’re anything like me, this is what you need to hear today to calm your brain: The 90s movie soundtrack that included the @GravityKillsSTL song “Goodbye (demo version)” is “Mortal Kombat”, and NOT a Kevin Smith film. (You’re thinking of Stabbing Westward). You’re welcome.

When I was in court I heard a Magistrate singing some Ed Sheeran, so I hired him for my Wedding. But at the ceremony he did his own material and was terrible. Which goes to show, you should never Book a Judge by his Covers.

Name a better 90s party/dance track than Deee-Lite’s “Groove Is In The Heart”… I’ll wait.

And I know it came out in the late 80s. I don’t care.

Remember… it’s not real “Monster Mash” unless it’s from the Frankenstein region of Austria… otherwise it’s just sparkling monster.

These days, anyone can get a PCB made, and affordably, too! Meanwhile, the DIY set continue to pioneer homebrew PCB techniques, too. We're looking for neat PCBs—the most artistic, well-designed, or just darned nifty. Show us what you got.

VidGrid on the Atari Jag CD is a vastly underrated puzzle game. I just wish it had more variety. I wonder if you could recreate it using YouTube videos in browser these days…

Second try on repairing the Jaguar controller. I found a 74244 and added a socket and put it in. Still no change. Grrr Turns out, one line in the cable is bad. 😠
