It was such a joy to have @UBCDeanEduc visit Stanford to talk about living in right relations.
While trying to do advocacy and reconciliation work has been incredibly tough in the US, her words reminded me how much momentum there is and how excited I am to come home and continue

I completely agree with @katrinacBurnaby that it's time to move #cdnchildcare away from the market. We in the childcare movement have been urging this for years but moving it to a public system needs to be done through public policy.
How do we move child care from market commodity to a public good?
Meaningful discussions at the #WorldForum on Early Care & Education - with important updates from @sharongregson @10aDayPlan!
Time to have a coordinated funding system and ensure child care is a right for all! ☀️

Creating system of affordable, accessible, hi quality #cdnchildcare for all doesn't happen overnight, as advocates have always said. Many are working on this - advocates, ECEs, researchers, govts fed/rov/terr/munic. Still much to do but improvements for many families.

Razz gets a D on a huck! I hear she eats a diet of exclusively sour blue Scandinavian swimmers. That’s what makes her so fast.

Razz hunts it down 8 times. I heard that she’s actually the daughter of Messi and Wayne Gretzky. Impressive. 2-0

Lots of great Ds from both sides. Luna hucks to Razz for the score. Razz is actually just here in the race-walking off-season, a sport in which she is an Olympic medalist. Blessed she’s donated her free time to our team. 5-2

Huck from Neo to Razz for the score. 12-6! Did you know Razz actually plays for five different teams at this tournament right now? She cloned herself and has been switching jerseys between points.

Game 2 starting vs Utah Sprial Jetty. 0-0 starting in O. Razz said she just invented a new zone, is head coach now and is planning on only throwing chicken wings all game
