First time “Croatia” as a country existed, was as a Nazi puppet state during WWII. 🧵 The lands called “Croatia” today originally belonged to many different states, including ancient Serbian kingdoms, Roman Empire and Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Croats are a Slavic tribe that has mixed wth domestic Balkan populations, just like Serbs, and the distinction between the two is mainly in the type of Christianity they adopted - Catholicism vs Orthodoxy - although there’s always been an overlap too.
So, the country known as “Croatia” today was never “Croatian”. It is a land that had majority Serb population in areas like Dalmatian hinterland, Dubrovnik, and Slavonia, while Croats tended to be the majority elsewhere, but the populations were always intertwined.
The moment Croats got their Nazi puppet state in WWII, they enacted a monstrous genocide against Serbs. They also targeted Jews and Roma - as was required by their Nazi overlords - but their primary obsession was eradicating the Serbs and fabricating a non-existent history, which was a mangled and stolen version of Serbian and Balkan history, rebranded as “Croatian”. For this, Serbs needed to disappear. In that sense, the only way Croats could imagine having their own independent statehood was at the expense of lives, humanity and history of their closest neighbours, the Serbs.
Since WWI, Croats repeatedly “ethnically cleansed” Serbs from areas that Croats tried to claim as “Croatia”, always under the auspices and with help of the Germans, Austrians and other former Axis powers. In the 1990s, Germany again played a major role but Croats were also enabled by NATO, to further expel quarter million Serbs, killing many. This resulted in one of the most ethnically “pure” states in Europe - Croatia, soaked in blood of Serbian civilians.
As they are now used to doing, Croats have completely re-written the history of these events, mainly to misrepresent their aggression toward the Serbs as a “thousand-year dream for statehood and independence”, and “defensive war against Serbian aggression” - in which the Serbs seem to have committed “aggression” by simply existing in their ancestral homes and daring to defend themselves when Croats tried to genocide and ethnically cleanse them.
My family comes from areas in today’s Croatia where Serbs were a majority. This area was the epicentre of WWII genocide and again in 1990s ethnic cleansing campaign Croats enacted against the Serbs. I witnessed the escalating threats of repeated genocide toward Serbs in 1990s. I witnessed attacks on our people and homes (including my grandparents in the middle of Zagreb, and relatives in Plitvice, Rijeka and Osijek) which actually kicked off the war - there are Croatian politicians and former chiefs of police who are on record admitting this. Serbs reacted by trying to defend themselves and by trying to use provisions in Yugoslav constitution designed to prevent this exact victimisation by the Croats. But Croats were armed and enabled by Germany and later NATO, so eventually Serbs ran for their lives.
Croats are now laughing at the Serbs who ran - with their tractors and bare belongings, in massive convoys that were bombed from above by NATO-enabled Croats, and they are ridiculing and blaming the victims, pretending that Serbs left of their own volition.
So no, Croatia is NOT a “Croatian land”. It’s a crime scene.
Croatia is an area in the Balkans where Serbs and Croats both lived, which Croats repeatedly soaked in innocent Serbian blood in order to call it “Croatia”.
Croats don’t get to murder, pillage and exile the Serbs who have lived there for centuries, “clean” the demographics of Serbian population, look at the wreckage they created, notice there are hardly any Serbs left and then pretend it is and always has been “Croatian land”.
They don’t even get to be the custodians of this beautiful land, because they disrespected and wrecked it.
Maybe one day, if the wrong is righted, if the crime is acknowledged, if Serbs are invited to return and if Croats can conceive their own statehood that includes their real history - one where Croats were mostly vassals to great powers and committed unspeakable atrocities against their closest neighbours - this could change. Until then, the crime scene will remain tainted and the victims and descendants will be seeking justice and access to their own homes and history. Because it’s not “Croatia” that is our home. It is the land, the mountains, the cities, the rivers, the lakes and the valleys, that birthed us and fed our bodies and souls for centuries. Our blood is there and it continues calling to us.
I would like to offer my deepest gratitude to one of the very rare Croats today who is trying to right these wrongs toward Serbs - an iconic Croatian film director Lordan Zafranović. A persona-non-grate in Croatia, he has doggedly pursued the issue of truth and justice, horrified by the crimes Croats have committed and keep committing against the Serbs. His latest film Golden Cut '42 - The Children of Kozara is a harrowing masterpiece about Croatian genocide against Serbs, that explores inhumanity and incomprehensible hatred, through a story about a concentration camp for children.
Names of some of my family appear in it too, and I only wish those who are no longer alive could see it. Amidst the greatest evil, the greatest good arises, and Lordan epitomises it, with his courage, heart and integrity to try and heal a wound that is so deep, it would be easy to assume it would remain forever.

Hands off our retirement funds. Our superannuation is not there to cover your ignorance!!!
The Hidden Risks Behind Labor’s Push to Merge Superannuation and Social Security.
Australia is being told to view the proposed merger of superannuation and Centrelink as a bold reform; a modernisation of retirement policy, a streamlining of welfare, a clever administrative fix. But that framing is the sugar‑coating. The reality underneath is far more consequential and far more dangerous for ordinary Australians.
Superannuation isn’t just a single pool of money held by a handful of large funds. It includes every pension scheme in the country: police, firefighters, ambulance officers, teachers, public servants; the backbone of Australia’s essential workforce. All of these funds sit under the same legislative umbrella. And once they are folded into a Centrelink‑controlled system, the government gains something it has never had before: direct access to the retirement savings of millions of Australians.
This proposal is not about efficiency. It is not about modernisation. It is about access: access to money that was never the government's to touch.
Under the model being floated, Centrelink would determine how much of your own savings you are permitted to withdraw. The ATO would automatically apply taxes before you ever see the money. And at the end of the financial year, you would be left to claw back whatever portion the system decides you’re entitled to reclaim. The independence Australians have always had over their retirement savings would evaporate.
Worse still, your home, the equity you’ve spent decades building, becomes another variable in the welfare equation. A private asset becomes a public lever.
And what does this unlock for the government?
A vast reservoir of funds that can be quietly redirected into immigration programs, housing schemes, and support for new arrivals, all without raising taxes or justifying new spending to voters. It is a redistribution pipeline disguised as “retirement reform.”
This is not the Australian Dream. It is Labor’s version of it; a version where your lifetime savings, your pension, and even your home are repurposed as tools for government policy rather than assets you control.
Australians deserve a retirement system that protects their independence, not one that absorbs their hard‑earned savings into bureaucracy. They deserve transparency, not a structural overhaul that masks fiscal opportunism behind the language of reform. And they deserve a government that respects the boundary between public welfare and private retirement, a boundary that exists for a reason. And, potentially, opens the door to another untapped resource, annual personal property taxes.
The stakes are enormous. This proposal isn’t just a policy shift. It’s a redefinition of ownership, responsibility, and the social contract itself.
The question to voters is this: Will you vote for Labor and allow this to happen, and if they do force through these communist laws, seize your superannuation, and give it to Centerlink to distribute, what will you do about it?

Here's Henry Kissingers short summary. It would never have existed if it hadn't been artificially created by the Clinton war machine. Muslim donations of $400k per 30 minute Hillary speeches were never investigated. Osama bin Laden was a Bosnian citizen ... a lot to learn

🇷🇸 High above the city of Novi Pazar, Serbia, sits a monastery with an origin story straight out of a medieval epic.
This is Đurđevi Stupovi (The Pillars of St. George). Built in 1170, this UNESCO World Heritage site is an architectural masterpiece with a legendary past.
In the late 12th century, the Grand Prince of Raška, Stefan Nemanja, was overthrown during a fierce battle for succession. Imprisoned in a cave dungeon by his own brothers, Nemanja prayed to St. George in the darkness. He made a solemn vow: if he were freed and regained his power, he would build a magnificent monastery dedicated to the saint on the highest peak in the territory.
He was freed. He reclaimed his throne. And he kept his word.
The architecture of Đurđevi Stupovi was entirely revolutionary for the Balkans. It masterfully fused Eastern Byzantine layouts with the heavy, soaring twin bell towers (stupovi) of Western Romanesque design, literally bridging two cultural worlds in stone.
Despite centuries of brutal destruction across various empires and world wars, the monastery stands today, beautifully restored and protected as a testament to an ancient vow.

I hope that Serbia never joins EU!! Finally someone had the balls to admit that EU needs western Balkan countries more than them needing EU!!

A former Special Forces Commando who served alongside Ben Roberts-Smith in Afghanistan has finally broken his silence.
His name is Dean Burgess.
He even speaks of the unwritten code of the “quiet professionals” and says he would feel like a traitor to the Brotherhood if he stayed silent any longer.
He describes the brutal truth our soldiers faced: an enemy with zero rules who hid behind women and children, used them as human shields, and laughed at our rules of engagement. Our troops were sent into that nightmare again and again under impossible restrictions.
Yet now the government is running a witch-hunt against the very men they ordered into that hell.
Stuff 'em, I am speaking out.
This gutless Labor government dragged our Victoria Cross hero off a plane in front of his kids, arrested him like a terrorist and locked him in Silverwater with the very terrorists he was sent to fight.
What happens in war stays in war, it's always been an unwritten code of honour by professionals who fought and some gave their live to protect us. You do not spend hundreds of millions crucifying soldiers for doing the job you sent them to do.
We still inflict our famous & stupid Australian Tall Poppy Syndrome on our own war heroes while bending over for every ideology we are too weak to name.
In 1980 Lee Kuan Yew was right when he warned us we would become the "poor white trash of Asia". Well Australia, it's Mission Accomplished. All gift-wrapped and paid for by taxpayers too gormless or apathetic to stop it.
At long last Australia is finally waking up. The rage is building. And we're not taking this anymore.
If you are reading this and feel the same way but can only say it in private, then WTFU, it's high time to grow a spine and start saying it publicly. For goodness sake stop hiding in the shadows whispering like controlled cowards.
