Inspired by @quatrainman, I've decided to cover all 3142 counties or county-equivalents of the United States, plus the 100 county equivalents in the incorporated and unincorporated territories. Counties will be presented randomly (I actually used a randomizer for this).
To even beat an unpopular incumbent in
Mississippi, Scott Colom had to run a near flawless campaign. And by all accounts, that is exactly what he did. And it got very little to no national attention (probably to his benefit). Can’t wait to see him in the US Senate.
Mississippi’s young people have been a huge part of this campaign from day one. I’ve seen how much they care about their home state and how determined they are to build a better future for it.
I’m grateful to every young Mississippian who believed in us, showed up and made their voices heard. THANK YOU for helping show the country Mississippi Matters!
LeBlanc and Kudrow were expendable. It is quite evident from the earlier seasons that their storylines weren’t as developed as the other cast members, catching up on in the later seasons (somewhat).
Matt LeBlanc revealed that Warner Bros. made a $4 million per episode Friends rerun deal in 1996 that only required FOUR of the six stars to stay
When the cast found out, they decided to negotiate together, and eventually all six secured $1,000,000 each per episode.
At the time, the actors were earning between $20,000 and $40,000 per episode, while Warner Bros. had already made a fortune selling the rights to air Friends reruns
but according to LeBlanc, there was a condition in the deal that only required four of the original six actors to remain on the show.
That meant Warner Bros. could potentially replace two of them without losing its massive rerun deal
LeBlanc recalled that the cast started wondering which two actors the studio considered expendable
Rather than negotiating separately, all six agreed to stick together and demand equal pay
Even David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston, who were making more than the others, agreed to the arrangement.
Their first collective negotiations in 1996 brought their salaries to around $75,000 each per episode, and they continued negotiating together over the following years
By 2002, every member of the Friends cast was earning $1 MILLION per episode, plus a share of the show's rerun profits
Warner Bros. was now paying all six actors a combined $6 million for every new episode!
Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina and possibly Mississippi have all elected Democratic Senators now since the last time Florida did. And even Louisiana came within 25k votes.
The absolute funniest story of this whole election cycle has to be Richard Ojeda carpetbagging to North Carolina to take on the Chair of the Republican Congressional Committee and then proceeding to clean his clock.
Draw your own safe house seat
Proceed to lose to some complete rando
Tim Moore, the man who oversaw the drawing of North Carolina’s 2023 congressional gerrymander as Speaker of the NC House and drew a seat for himself, lost his election for NC-14. amp.newsobserver.com/news/po…

This blue wave is like when Jalen hurts lost to the chiefs in the Super Bowl and came back two years later and beat the shit out of them
Carrick should absolutely not resign. He should stay on until he is let go and given his bag by an inept and incompetent ownership. He should not do their job for them and give up what he is due on top of it.
The high scores for Ipswich and Wimbledon are just impossibly difficult to achieve on @38_0app. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
