Hi Twitter hivemind! Given what’s happening in my country, anyone here have behavioral economics or research case studies on combatting disinformation? I do follow @firstdraftnews , but checking if there are other research projects as well

Had a chat with @yellowicepick earlier, talking about her transition from research to product, where we want to go in our careers, and discovering we both experienced ad hoc product management roles, despite not having official experience 😅
Thank you Angela for the time! 🙌
My twitter feed is now a toxic hellhole and I’ll be removing it from my phone, to preserve my sanity.
I’ll be looking for a different social feed, sadly. And, I’ll just look for the people I admire and follow, elsewhere.

Fox News is owned by Rupert Murdoch, Facebook/Instagram is owned by Mark Zuckerberg, and Twitter is owned by Elon Musk.
But remember, MAGA Republicans tell us every single day that they have no voice in America. You can’t make this up.
Serious question though: Where else is there a forum where I can openly follow people I admire as they share raw thoughts, life and work lessons - That aren’t fully controlled by a likes-powered algorithm? So it’s only *casually* engaging
Also, where will I go to now to check if there’s an earthquake? 😂 #EarthquakePH
👏🏽
And, with this retweet, I ask: What’s a good app to shift to, now? :(

Finally paid to edit tweets (huh, it doesn’t work retroactively…) and the way it works reminds me a lot of this one XKCD comic

Things I don’t miss from enterprise work: Politics is part of life, and all jobs. I know this now.
But, power plays defeating objective business benefits are the pits.
Happy anniversary! To the project and team whose work I admire most. And have tried to learn from (in any publicly available way) for a decade. 🙌🏽 @GDSTeam
Such a well-articulated/nuanced piece from @Richeydarian Given all the mines one must tread around.

Job-to-be-done + features: When I want to do an unfettered brain dump, I use Evernote, so that I can focus on pure “text”. Contrast: The immediacy of Notion’s formatting controls + chunkiness of font style gives my brain a sense of pressure that my thoughts have to be more formed
One of my favorite things about our team: everyone proactively asks how we could have learned something sooner
