I heard someone say “I don’t feel like myself lately, I must be growing” what a beautiful perspective for uncomfortable seasons.

people who find themselves frequently duped by charlatans and nefarious characters of all kinds should watch this film as mandatory viewing.
Nathan Fielder says Elizabeth Holmes seemed "so genuine at times," but adds: “I know she’s a liar.” “When I met her, I remember having this weird experience where she seems so genuine at times. But then I’m like, ‘no,’ and clocking and tracking my thoughts and being like, ‘Okay, I know she’s a liar.’ It was a weird mental thing. From there, we were like, ‘Can we roll the dice on something if they were open to having cameras in?'” Fielder said at #NYFF. “It wasn’t until we started shooting that moments would happen — some of them are in the film — and then after Lance and I would talk about what we thought happened there. We’d completely disagree on what something meant to us and what we thought was happening. Then we were like, ‘Oh, this is really interesting. If we can’t agree on what’s happening, there’s something here.’ And our curiosity sort of just like drove us from there.” variety.com/2026/film/news/n…

You Can See Everything was a really interesting film and imo it's worth seeing in order to grasp Nathan Fielder's methodology in understanding the truth in what happened. I have many thoughts about some things revealed in the doc, but my main beliefs/opinions remain unchanged.
in other news, I bought a ticket to go see You Can See Everything this afternoon by myself

FORMAT IDEA: for the first one, perhaps just one guest. • intro (5 mins) • background/basic questions (10 mins) • we go off the deep end (15 mins) • absurd questions (FMK, hills to die on, etc.) (10 mins) • closing and possible audience participation (5 mins)
IDEA: I host a Space sometime this week/next weekend where I have mutuals on as guests where I ask hard-hitting, thoughtful, and fun interview-type questions. who's interested in something like this? 🩷

true, and some of us also thoroughly enjoy the role of the interviewer! it feels like being a half-decent interviewer involves asking the types of thoughtful questions you'd like to receive.
everyone wants to be interviewed

this morning, as I enjoy the crisp morning air, I yearn for the things from a past season that have fallen away like the sycamore leaves

spending time with my ex last night reminded me that I care about him very deeply and enjoy having him around. there is pain in missing him, but at one point he was someone I used to love spending time with almost every day. that's the version of him that I miss most of all.

I forgive him. when my love is given, it's unconditional. part of loving someone is compassionately understanding where someone's coming from, and that increased awareness can lead to forgiveness for their shortcomings and past hurt they've caused. it's giving context to pain.
Today is Forgive an Ex Day.
