Happy to have presented my research on mnemonic labor and material engagement with old mobile phones (1970s-2000s) yesterday at #ECREA2024! Submitting my abstract to the @COHEcrea section was a great decision, as temporality and media technology were central themes of discussion.

We are devastated to share the news that Professor Xiaohong Xu, a co-founder of THiS, passed away after a courageous struggle with colon cancer on Dec 12, 2023. Surrounded by family and friends, Xiaohong left us peacefully and without pain. We will forever miss you, Xiaohong!

I finally feel good in using the Obsidian to take notes after watching Youtube tutorial videos and creating ten pieces of notes! I look forward to seeing how it can beautifully draw the network of my notes one day!
Today, I finished my third year review meeting; I received comments of the last chapter; the library told me they have purchased an electronic copy of the book I requested; my mom likes my birthday gift for her; it is still sunny and I am working with my draft. It's a good day!
Wonderful Journey in #MSA @MemStudiesAssoc and #mnemonics @mnemonics_net! Got very genuine support and constructive advice from all mnemonics helping me to anchor and develop my study. People I met in these two weeks, I can't wait seeing you next time!
ICA has been a dream for me since 2018 and I made it! It was even greater to see inspiring authors and papers than presenting my own reasearch and I will carry all I learnt with me in my following journey.
