AI tools such as Copilot, Codex, and Claude are to software developers what forklifts are to warehouse workers. A warehouse worker can still move boxes by hand, just as a developer can still write every line of code manually, but doing so is far slower and less efficient. Forklifts don’t replace the worker—they amplify the worker’s productivity, allowing one person to accomplish what once required many hours of physical labor. Likewise, AI coding assistants don’t replace developers; they handle much of the repetitive and routine work, freeing developers to focus on architecture, problem-solving, and business logic. In the same way that no modern warehouse would choose to rely solely on bare hands, it is becoming increasingly difficult to imagine competitive software development being done without AI assistance. Hints: I, human, thought about the analogy of forklift and AI, ChatGPT, wrote out nicely for me the sentences above. So I used some tokens and deployed some human capital, feeling good about the compounding effect🙂

Something is happening to the US that is slow, systematic and deadly. Trump is dismantling our country, and it’s deliberate, calculated and surgical. 1: trump killed NATO partnership, our strongest defense alliance against Russia and China 2: trump’s HHS Secretary is killing our public health infrastructure, creating a more sicker and vulnerable America with communicative diseases 3: over at the pentagon trump’s frat boy Petey is firing our most qualified generals, depleting our best military hardware rapidly, in a stupid war to make our military a third world level armed forces 4: trump’s DOGE deliberately hollowed out our government from essential experts, to zap its functioning capabilities 5: trump killed USAID, and we lost our goodwill around the world and became isolated pariah 6: trump ICE became his brown shirts, killing and abusing Americans to obey 7: trump’s weirdo FBI director is charging everyone and anyone to silence Americans 8: trump DOJ is robbing the treasury to the tune of $1.8 billion dollars, to create an army of bribed foot soldiers to protect their dismantling of the country during midterm elections 9: trump’s interior secretary is dismantling our national parks 10: trump’s economic team of Bassett and lutnick is crashing the economy, creating a population of economically disadvantaged 11: trump’s Epstein files are now officially been shelved to protect trump the destroyer 12: trump let his oligarch enabler Peter Thiel to confiscate all our private data, including social security, tax, health and court and business records 13: finally and most importantly, trump and his family and his oligarch enablers are looting our treasury, and stuffing our tax dollars into their pockets. Now tell me, you don’t think trump is a foreign agent, disguised as the president of the U.S, installed to destroy the US? Could it be that fuck Putin, specially after lifting all sanctions against Russia? Or, the other fuck Elon, the asshole AIPAC Netanyahu, the anti Christ fuck Theil owning trump’s ass? Trump is no longer doing the duties of the president, but having out loud fantasies about men in his circus rallies, shit posting all day, all night, and golfing in the weekend. Drag this enemy of America out of the White House. That foreign escort “Epstien hooker” Melania too.

I’m non party affiliated but just voted all Democrats in my mail-in ballot. Didn’t need to do much research this time as I usually did. This kind of shits that Trump has been discharging for years smell so bad that I just can’t hold my nose any longer! 🤮 And it was not Trump himself, as we all know he has been a shitty fella all along since when? It was the people who enabled him. Vote those cowards and ass-kissing Republicans out by voting all blues 😡
This “$5,000” thing is fooling no one. But it has made one thing clear: Republican desperation at the 1-month-out mark.

For 32 years, American workers had a simple deal: work harder, get paid more. From 1947 to 1979, productivity rose 119% and compensation rose 100%. Then the deal broke, from 1979 to 2009, productivity climbed another 80%, but compensation grew just 8% and wages only 7%. Same workers, more output, almost no raise. So where did the gains go? To the people who owned the machines, the capital, the equity, not the people running them. I spent 25 years in enterprise, including at Google, and watched this play out in real time. Every efficiency gain, every new system, the value flowed up to shareholders. Now AI is arriving, the biggest productivity leap since electricity, maybe bigger. If an 80% productivity gain gave workers just 8%, what happens when AI doubles output again? The lesson is brutal but simple. Productivity doesn't make you rich, ownership does. Your salary is tied to your time, capital is tied to growth. So don't just use AI to work faster, use it to own something: a stake, a product, a portfolio, a piece of the upside. The gap on this chart won't close by itself, it will widen. Pick your side.

Trump blamed Zelenskyy for the rise in diesel prices. In reality, Russian diesel accounts for less than 10% of the market, and the blame for the price hike lies with Trump’s senseless war in Iran. However, another aspect is more interesting: Trump is not calling on Putin to end the war; instead, he is effectively pressuring Ukraine to surrender. To be absolutely clear: the president of the country that signed the Budapest Memorandum—and effectively stripped Ukraine of its nuclear weapons—is now accusing Ukraine of daring not to surrender to the aggressor. t.me/MirovichMedia/15501

For the umpteenth time: Quit trying to analyze Trump. Quit trying to figure out why he says and does the things he says and does. I’m so fucking sick of listening to some panel on CNN try to discuss his latest bizarre pronouncement like he’s some normal human being. Stop that. This isn’t complicated- He’s not a normal human being. He’s a sociopath. He lies as he breathes. He’s an idiot. He’s a Russian asset. He gets off on being cruel. He’s never been held accountable for anything he’s done his entire life. He’s a horrible person. And he’s the biggest fucking crybaby who’s ever lived. That’s it.

We live in a country where an alcoholic runs our military, a former heroin addict is in charge of our health and they both report to a convicted felon & adjudicated rapist. And Christians support them all. What a time to be alive 🤪

I missed Al Gore, a decent man who conceded in 2000 to Bush but won many victories afterwards.
Say it again for the back people in the back!

Not learning or not wanting to learn from histories is a gigantic waste of those invaluable intellectual resources humanity had paid dearly to accumulate over the course of civilization development. Well, maybe like Newton’s laws governing mechanics, you can’t deny they’re there with us all the times, Cipolla’s laws governing human stupidity, you can’t deny they’re also here with us all the times 😭
Many Chinese people look at videos of their parents generation doing the ridiculous loyalty dance to Mao during the Cultural Revolution and wonder how can an entire country be so crazy, so stupid and so shameless. I suspect when future Americans look back at the Trump era they will asking the same question.

Nailed it! Bottom line on Trumpy: "Scratch beneath the surface and there's no hidden brilliance, no master strategist, no misunderstood genius. Just an impulsive, self-absorbed figure stumbling from one failure to the next, desperately trying to drown incompetence in a torrent of bluster and spectacle."
When the illusion finally shatters, what remains isn't disappointment,it's humiliation. The man you poured your faith into was never a visionary, never a savior, never even remotely exceptional. He was a hollow fraud wrapped in ego, fueled by noise, and sustained by endless self-promotion. Every boast, every grand promise, every display of swagger crumbles the instant reality enters the room. What looked like confidence was arrogance. What looked like strength was insecurity. What looked like leadership was little more than a carefully marketed illusion. Scratch beneath the surface and there's no hidden brilliance, no master strategist, no misunderstood genius. Just an impulsive, self-absorbed figure stumbling from one failure to the next, desperately trying to drown incompetence in a torrent of bluster and spectacle. In the end, the strongman image collapses into exactly what it always was: cheap theater. -A gaudy performance. -A caricature masquerading as leadership. -A salesman peddling an image he could never live up to. And the hardest part isn't watching the act fall apart. It's realizing how long you applauded it, defended it, and mistook obvious bullshit for substance...

Our debt is now up to $40 trillion. Trump said he would eliminate the debt in 8 years. Instead, he added $11.6 TRILLION across 2 terms, and will add another projected 4.7 TRILLION from his signature Big Ugly Bill. He is responsible for an astounding 29% of today’s total debt. 🤬

What Ukraine did with 33 years of independence: two revolutions against stolen elections, a comedian elected in a landslide and then held to account by his own press, an army rebuilt from garage donations to Europe's most capable. What Russia did with the same 33 years: one president, four wars, two constitutional resets, and a state where every institution is now a synonym for one man's fear. Same starting line, 1991. Same inheritance of Soviet wreckage. The difference isn't culture or geography. It's that one country belongs to its citizens and the other belongs to its ruler. That's the entire war, explained.

To my Chinese American Trump fans … yes I despise your decisions to support the man I always despised and even more so today, but we could still be friendly if you can be like this Circle K guy😏
I just had a Trump voter come up to me at Circle K and say: “I’m sorry.” I honestly had no idea what they meant, so I said: “Excuse me?” They looked at me and said: “I used to hate you because you were always attacking Trump.” Then they paused. “Now I hate myself for defending him.” That one caught me off guard. I told them they shouldn’t hate themselves for changing their mind. They said: “I just wish I had seen it sooner.” Politics has become so tribal that people feel like changing their mind means admitting defeat. It doesn’t. Sometimes changing your mind just means you finally stopped defending a politician and started thinking for yourself.
