The good answer is :
before
after

Added some vertical surface detection to golf so the portal will attach to the wall, also Specs got an additive capture mode which is hype. ⛳️
For a side project I needed to optimize how medias are delivered to users while reducing the load on my server.
I used @awscloud S3 for storage, coupled with a CDN.
The CDN caches the media files close to the end users, so requests don’t always hit the server or the S3 bucket.
Keep an eye on your browser extensions, I just spent a lot of time debugging a hydration error that was linked to my password manager extension 😅

The cat is out of the bag: MSW now supports mocking WebSocket APIs! 🥳
This makes it the first API mocking library in JavaScript to support all major API types. Client-agnostic and standard-based, as usual.
Learn about why it took 4 years to ship:

❌ Don't use React Query to read what's synchronous
It's not because you can use React Query that you should
This includes localStorage, but many other cases as well.
Can read synchronously & subscribe to changes?
➡️ useSyncExternalStore()
No loading/error state to handle
Use @tan_stack query for localStorage.
Would you do it different?

Database Tools from @jetbrains are now bundled in WebStorm too!

ALT Built-in support for database tools and SQL: Database tools and full SQL support, previously available through a paid plugin, is now bundled with WebStorm at no extra cost. You can query, create, and manage databases directly in the IDE. This extends WebStorm’s capabilities for backend and full-stack development. It also makes switching between JetBrains IDEs easier, as most of them include this functionality.
1️⃣ /core: Tests for my services. I mock the repository layer and focus on testing the service logic only.
2️⃣ /entrypoint: Tests for my controllers. I mock the services to test only the controller behavior.
3️⃣ /integration: Real endpoint calls with no mocks.

What if I told you that you're using the "alt" attribute wrong? 🤦♂️
I used to do this for years. That is NOT correct. The "alt" attribute must describe what's visible on the picture.
