MiCA: France, Binance's Last Resort in Europe
According to our reporting, France is now Binance's only viable option to maintain access to the European market.
Discussions are underway with the AMF, but no formal application has been filed.
This scenario follows the Greek rejection revealed yesterday by Reuters, which we are in a position to confirm.
And the behind-the-scenes story of this rejection is more political than regulatory.
According to our sources, the Greek regulator (HCMC) had deemed the application complete and compliant with MiCA.
The block reportedly came from the top: Christine Lagarde is said to have directly signaled to the Greek Prime Minister that Binance was not welcome in Europe. The directive was then reportedly passed on to the Finance Minister, and from there to the HCMC.
The ECB president's presumed motivation is believed to be linked to stablecoins.
Binance is the primary liquidity channel for these assets in Europe. Cutting off its access to this market would amount to forcibly strengthening the position of the future digital euro.
On the French side, the Treasury and Tracfin (financial intelligence agency) are reportedly pushing for Binance to be supervised from Paris.
The rationale: maintaining visibility over the platform's financial flows, which would disappear if it left the European market.

I am reliably informed that ECB president Christine Lagarde directly ordered Greece to reject Binance’s MiCA license application.
My source said Binance had essentially been given the green light by Greece’s regulator, before the ECB stepped in.
Not good news for crypto if the ECB is ultimately pulling the strings.
Binance is dedicated to Europe.
We are committed to our European users and to operating under a clear, fair, and harmonised MiCA framework. We are dedicated to securing our MiCA licence and remain ready to operate under a fair, predictable, and genuinely harmonised European framework.
We will continue to keep users updated as we make progress.

According to a Reuters report citing sources, Greece's regulator is set to reject Binance's MiCA application. This would stop Binance serving EU users from July 2026. Binance says it meets the requirements and will update before June 30. reuters.com/business/finan… bitcoinmagazine.com/news/binance-f…
Is there a way to automatically block all accounts that ask #grok to change faces/skin colors; remove criminals/the ugliest people from an image, etc.? It's too much noise, I don't want to see that.

These North Korean hackers are advanced, creative and patient. I have seen/heard:
1. They pose as job candidates to try to get jobs in your company. This gives them a “foot in the door”. They especially like dev, security, finance positions.
2. They pose as employers and try to interview/offer your employees. During the interview, they will be a problem with Zoom and they will send your employee a link to an “update”, which contains virus that will takeover your employee’s device. Or they will give your employee a coding question and later send some “sample code”.
3. They pose as users and send you links in a Customer Support request. The linked page will have a virus to download of some kind.
4. They pay/bribe your employees, outsourced vendors for data access. Just a few months ago, a major India outsource service was hacked and leaked a major US exchange user data, resulting in user asset loss of more than $400m.
The list goes on…
To all crypto platforms, train your employees to not download files, and screen your candidates carefully.
Stay SAFU. 🙏
