Vinix, a new OS/kernel, is perfect for low end hardware. vinix-os.org Here's Vinix running on an Intel Atom n450 netbook with a Windows XP theme. It runs well, RAM usage is small, no lags.

Vinix's ISO size has gone down from 1 GB to just 100 MB! This was achieved by removing Firefox, X11, debug info, and many other packages that can be easily installed. An yes, Vinix doesn't need X11 to run, it has its own WS. vinix-os.org blog.vinix-os.org/post/42/vi…

We had a security breach last night related to a large scale distillation attack that impacted 1.4% of OpenCode Console users We have notified them all this morning via email. If you did not get an email you were not impacted, it was a subset of users who had external providers linked The incident is ongoing so we cannot share more details at this point but we are working with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to remediate

I don’t really care how @opencode engineered their coding agent. I’m more curious about how they engineered OpenCode Go’s billing system. Multiple models, multiple pricing structures, multiple billing systems. At this point, the billing engine might be more impressive than the coding agent itself. 💀

you can get much better landing pages out of AI agents if you stop asking them to design and code everything in one go instead, use @paper to explore the design first go section by section: - make a bunch of different hero sections - try different layouts for the product demo - explore how the features could be shown - put the variations next to each other on the canvas that's what makes Paper useful. you can actually see the different directions instead of trying to imagine them from a conversation pick the parts you like and keep iterating. maybe the headline from one hero works better with the layout from another once you have a general direction, bring those sections together into a page then have the agent turn that into actual code that's when i'd add animations, but they should help explain the product. show an action, show what changed, make the interaction feel good not an annoyingly slow animation you have to sit through just to read the page try gradients or dithers where they fit too (i have two really cool projects coming for this 👀) the screenshot is one of my designs in Paper

1. Our skeletons are wet. 2. Your nose is ALWAYS in your line of sight, but your brain ignores it. 3. When you receive a donated kidney, they don't take out the bad one. They just add the good one in. 4. Your immune system doesn't know you have eyes. Otherwise, it would attack them and make you blind. Injuring one eye can introduce eye bits to the bloodstream and basically give your immune system the knowledge of having eyes. Then it might decide it really fucking hates that and attack your non-injured eye. 5. The quality of the male sperm is responsible for morning sickness, preeclampsia, baby's gender and almost every single pregnancy related issue. 6. You breathe through one nostril at a time. Don't believe me? Put your finger below your nose and try. 7. The brain itself has no nerve endings, so it can't feel pain. That's why patients can be wide awake during brain surgery and made to perform certain actions. 8. That ringing in silence isn't silence. When everything is quiet and you hear a faint ringing? That's your brain listening to its own nervous system. You are hearing yourself functioning. 9. You will never experience your own death. You only experience approaching it... Then nothing. Everyone else gets closure, stories, funerals, and memories. You don't. You never know you've become a memory. From your perspective, the story just stops mid-sentence.
Tell me something about the human body i probably don’t know.

Plain text becomes links in Enriched Markdown 🔗 Part two of our work with @jullerino on @t3dotchat: link recognition. Pass a regex and things like #1284 or src/App.tsx turn into native links on iOS & Android. No Markdown rewriting, copy stays untouched, and they work with pills, variants, and context menus out of the box. Ready for testing in the nightly release! 🧪🚀 Demo below 👇
