A Shai-Hulud variant was spotted in @BSidesTO
Even though seemingly rey did not like me, and by proxy TeamPCP i still feel for him. all of his money is likely going to be taken by federal agents which is going to suck. The hack was impressive.

🚨 Teenagers suspected of leading ransomware group arrested in international operation
Authorities from nine countries have disrupted KillSec, a ransomware group linked to almost 1,000 attacks worldwide.
⠀
A 16-year-old is suspected of serving as the group’s administrator and main operator.
Another suspected developer recently turned 18 and was a minor during several of the alleged offenses.
⠀
The operation resulted in:
• Three arrests
• Eight searches in Spain, Greece, the UK and Romania
• Five servers seized
• KillSec-operated domains seized
• At least 110 TB of stolen data secured
⠀
KillSec allegedly exploited poorly secured access points, particularly cloud storage, to steal sensitive data.
Victims were threatened with publication unless they paid a ransom.
The investigation remains ongoing.

A YouTube video should come out in a few weeks shedding light on the internals of the supply chain attacks from a relatively large YouTuber, Ive tried my best to answer the questions I was asked :) RIP TeamPCP.
Hello, i am alive and well :) its been fun. We're retiring within the next few weeks. I may continue posting on here if i do not lose the login credentials for my X. the supply chains were fun, and the researchers tracking us were cool for the most part. thanks for the memories.
Make no mistake - they weren't skilled. teampcp made mistakes that made it easy. Watch your security.
A joint @FBI, @AusFedPolice and @WA_Police investigation has led to the arrest of two Western Australian men charged with allegedly hiding malicious code in open-source software, harvesting 500,000+ credentials and compromising 1,000+ organizations worldwide. A powerful example of U.S.-Australia law enforcement cooperation and our shared commitment to combating the growing threat of cybercrime. afp.gov.au/news-centre/media…
Ignoring the warrants showed PCP/teampcp had more integrity than any of his haters. he always told me he'd catch a charge before letting feds farm info on the people he worked with, and he stuck to it.
Please stop harassing caspers girlfriend, i don't want to have to get involved with meaningless beef.
