My first ride from @LASairport! There’s nothing quite like walking off the plane and straight into the comfort of one of our robotaxis. It brings me so much joy to see @Zoox expanding in this wonderful city with every trip. Kudos to the team on this latest milestone. 💚
Kids in Lululemon store witnessed Grab-n-Go at Fillmore location. “Mom, they just grabbed stuff & put it in a big garbage bag!” Security was present but mostly just to protect customers/employees. Heard this is an organized ring. Those shops, getting victimized A FEW times a day! @SFPD help

Big milestone. Kudos and congrats to the whole Zoox team!
Last week, the @CA_DMV granted our permit to operate our robotaxi autonomously on public roads. This weekend, we hit the road! It marked the first time in history that a purpose-built robotaxi—with no manual controls—drove autonomously on open public roads with passengers. It was a huge milestone for Zoox and the AV industry.

Zoox made history! Over the weekend, Jesse and I took the maiden autonomous ride in our purpose-built robotaxi on open public roads. This is an amazing milestone for @Zoox and the AV industry as a whole. It’s a testament to our vision and the dedication, focus, and hard work of our crew. I couldn't be more proud. 💚

Providing AVs with the most comprehensive understanding of their environment is imperative for safe autonomous driving. That's why, at @Zoox, we rely on a multi-modal sensor architecture. Kudos to our Perception team for the incredible progress they've made in this space. 💚
Just like human drivers, autonomous vehicles need to be able to see their surroundings to drive safely. Humans rely on our two eyes; Zoox uses a sophisticated combination of sensors.
Here's RJ He, our Director of Perception, explaining how it's done: youtu.be/5E2NYmgvo3E.

Why is CA dismantling the way non-rich public school kids can excel?
By dismantling advanced math, social mobility will go down. Rather than lifting all children up, the only kids who will be able to rise will be private school kids.
This is wrong and must be stopped.
In the name of “equity”, California DOE’s 2021 Mathematics Framework attacks the idea of gifted students and eliminates opportunities for accelerated math.
- no grouping students by ability
- no Algebra for 8th graders
- no Calculus for high schoolers
