Omg today the air purifier disappeared in laundro.cafe for Singapore! Are we back on clean air finally? 🥰
laundro.cafe’s isometric scene is entirely SVGs ☕️
3D coordinates → 2D paths.
Depth sorting + CSS shading.
No Three.js or 3D assets to preload for the scene.
Even the car runs on a custom SVG engine, with backface culling and direct polygon updates each frame.
Tuned the details using DialKit by @joshpuckett 🙏
1st Easter Egg reveal in laundro.cafe:
ok this is the easy one probably some of you already found out. Touch grass in quick succession will shower you with clovers representing good luck and blessings 🍀
There is still one more harder hidden easter egg that needs to be triggered under specific time and specific conditions. Good luck finding it in laundro.cafe 😆
Actually I've hidden quite a few easter eggs 🐣 in this tiny laundromat. They have to be triggered under specific conditions. See if you can find them ;)

should I reveal the first Easter Egg hidden in the laundromat 👀

🔊 "Back to the future 1955 edition" toy has been delivered to laundro.cafe for a limited time!
Try it before it's gone next time -- It will join the other 2 easter eggs to become the 3rd one that will only show at 19:55.

Laundro Cafe is on Product Hunt today 🧺☕️
If you've visited the little laundromat, I'd love to hear what you think. Come say hi, leave some feedback, or share it with a friend!

sound on 🔊 now there is weather ⛅ live weather and AQI based on your ip location, can be seen from the window outside, from the weather board in the laundromat, and can be heard as well. And yes, in Singapore now you get an air purifier in the laundromat for some fresh air 😶🌫️
🔊 i opened my little internet laundromat laundro.cafe last night, and the notebook is already on page 3. 🥹
you might be sitting there alone when another washer starts spinning, or a stranger brews you a coffee ☕.
you never meet, but somehow the room feels a little less empty and a little more cozy. 🧺

couldn't have done this site without our best friend claude ~ come to laundro.cafe to find this little guy 👋
Make toggling sounds in laundro.cafe more fun with soundwaves and knots 🔉 So now if you prefer a quieter white noise ambience, you can toggle off certain shared sounds that you might not want to hear when you are focusing on your work.
details are what make your app truly unique. the motion of the curtain, the light diffusion, the room ambience -- added all these to make laundro.cafe really comes to life. is it unnecessary? idts, cos it will certainly make the experience feel more pleasant.
and i'm really amazed by how Claude Opus 5.5 managed to pull this off, the whole curtain motion is fully SVG, no Three.js at all!

Day 2 running my online laundromat laundro.cafe It's so interesting to see other people's post, especially when somebody posted a question and later on got responded by somebody else. Internet is still beautiful 🔆

welcome to the laundromat I opened on the Internet: laundro.cafe (sound on 🔊)
a day goes by in the room: strangers start their machines, the tv flips stations, and someone answers a note in the notebook -- free, no sign ups, 18 languages supported -- come and meet strangers around the world!
washer and dryer cycles are perfect for pomodoro timer, come and sit down, listen to some lofi music, make a cup of coffee, write down some notes, touch some grass, look at other people's running washers and dryers, or, simply just zone out and relax.

[Sound On 🔊] Weekend project: Laundromat in the browser, inspired by a book i'm recently reading: Yeonnam-Dong's Smiley Laundromat by Kim Jiyun, translated by @heyimshanna . The idea expanded into a digital mini app that allow you: set focus timer, lofi music, write notes to strangers, and of course - do your laundry, have a cup of coffee, sit back, relax, touch grass, and zone out 😌 Completely free, no signup needed and a few final touches i'll be releasing it soon!

The project is live! Come and visit the laundromat at laundro.cafe Remember to bring your basket of dirty clothes 😉
thanks to @joshpuckett's amazing DialKit. I tuned the whole room with 12 panels of live controls for light, sky, camera, time of day and every object. drag a dial, the scene changes while it runs -- hand-tune until satisfied and then copy the config json back into claude to easily apply in code.
