Cross Flatts parkrun is 10 years old today! Big celebrations in the park today - fancy dress and cakes and sharing all the memories from the last 10 years.
Absolutely brilliant!
In other news I did my first ever parkrun today, after a tonne of help from @SthLeedsLakers Couch to 5k course!
Yes, that's me crying at a parkrun medal 😭😂🥰 it's been my new year's resolution for years & years now, so it was dead good to achieve it!

Yes. Cross Flatts Park is the place to be active on a Saturday morning. @xflattsparkrun followed by park roll, cycling and not forgetting @ParkPlayUK down the road in Brickfield park
Sadly no @xflattsparkrun this morning. Lots of other Leeds' parkruns out there and then the brilliant @BeestonFestival from 12-5pm in Cross Flatts park. Have a great Saturday.

Well, today I volunteered for the first time, which involved talking to lots of new people & I loved every second! Proud of how far I’ve come 😀

Good morning Leeds! Saturday morning often means Parkrun for us. This photo was taken New Years Day from our local @xflattsparkrun A friendly 5k run every Saturday at 09:00 powered by a brilliant team of volunteers.
ALT Dozens of people in sportswear at the starting line of the Cross Flatts Parkrun. The sun is peaking over the horizon through the trees.
Sorry for the late notice but we are going to have to cancel the event this morning due to the paths in the park being extremely icy and unsafe for running.
