Fighting with how to structure the physical book version of The Age of Urisha. Do I group all the Urisha together at the back of the book? So I do them at the end of each major event? Should I state events chronologically? It's a lot to think about! 🤔

London Comic con is over! Arksong chapter 7 is printed! Exam season is nearing its end! Whatsay we finish up the Age of Urisha next month too? I've been itching to see how it'll end!

If you're wondering why I'm quiet. It's because it's exam season and comic con season here and I'm a teacher and comic artist. So between the two my time is gone! I'm still a bit active on my hawthornearts instagram and sometimes at @hawthornearts. Have a good weekend everyone!

9. Let's continue this with the events from the middle years and later days: As the battles waged on Augmented Humans increased in number. The foremost of them being Turesi and Miaritra. But as some figures rose, other's fell: prominent Urisha such as Yinza and Ebeji were slain.

10. Smaller factions, separate from the Oruka and Underwater Kingdom also began to appear. Alimo's crew of builders, and The Asonu, led by Bobolu are examples of this. Their aim was to save as many humans as possible. They had no interest in fighting.

Comments show that people from all sides of this aren't understanding what this is all about. And those of you trying to get sales in the comments because of the discussion - that's not what this is about either. It's about respecting and valuing all art and skill... (cont.)

...it's about equally recognising and celebrating the different experiences, visual languages, and narratives that artists have to offer. It's about not being hypocritical by claiming to be an art connoisseur, and then ignoring an entire ethnic or racial group's artwork.
