After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI? I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev • 20-200x faster • 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free) • Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution

Introducing Starbase, Louisiana – a high-cadence launch site that will enable Starship to open a pathway to the stars for humanity. Thank you to @LAGovJeffLandry and the great people of Louisiana for all of their support as we work together on this audacious project → spacex.com/sites/starbase-la

Hello, Moon. It’s great to be back. Here’s a taste of what the Artemis II astronauts photographed during their flight around the Moon. Check out more photos from the mission: nasa.gov/artemis-ii-multimed…

Liftoff. The Artemis II mission launched from @NASAKennedy at 6:35pm ET (2235 UTC), propelling four astronauts on a journey around the Moon. Artemis II will pave the way for future Moon landings, as well as the next giant leap — astronauts on Mars.

I am discovering more and more lately that the grind is almost never worth it. Don’t trade your time with family and friends to keep up with what’s supposed to be leaving you behind.

I think it’s pretty funny how low-code tools have had to pivot to a lot of code to not get left behind in the era of LLMs

One of my mates vibecoded a property management tool to cut costs. He's been spending more time maintaining and fixing the very app he built to save money. Instead of working on the actual business that makes money. The jokes write themselves lmao

Everyday I swing from the “AI is going to take my job, it’s so over” camp to the “AI is a shitty prediction machine that can’t ever replace me” camp What a time to be alive

Still slop, but it actually goes pretty hard

Startup idea: A social media platform that has no algorithm, and wait for it, it’s just people you actually follow 🤯

Learning new things is worth your time. Don’t fall into the AI corps propaganda.

So let me get this straight: > you pay money to Claude to generate code that you have no context over > it’s generally bad, unmaintainable code > you then pay Claude again to review the bad code it generated? > it magically fixes that bad code… Yep ok sounds good to me

Code Review optimizes for depth and may be more expensive than other solutions, like our open source GitHub Action. Reviews generally average $15–25, billed on token usage, and they scale based on PR complexity.

There’s now +1 more flies in existence - but this one wasn’t born in the world we know. Makes you think, have we simulated ourselves before?

Would you trust a bank that was vibe coded? Would you trust hospital equipment that was vibe coded? Would you trust national mainframes that were vibe coded?

If AI makes you a 100x developer, why is everyone building low-IQ CRUD apps that don’t really push the boundaries of tech? I could be wrong, but I have yet to see something that would have been incredibly hard or near-impossible a few years ago being done today by vibe coders.
