My dad grew up in one of the most rural parts of NC. Thanks to the Duke Talent Identification Program, which ran a talent search across the rural South to find and uplift smart American kids, he was thrown an intellectual life preserver. He then double majored in math and CS, and went on to get his finance PhD.
That program doesn’t exist anymore.
Now, when a top university wants stem talent, they import it en masse from Asia, and fasttrack those immigrants to high paying US jobs. How many brilliant rural kids are out there now (in the “flyover states” @agupta smeared) waiting for a life preserver that never comes? Neglecting American STEM talent was one of our most egregious errors.

Craig Wright is 100% correct that BTC misrepresents itself as Bitcoin. This has been a dirty little secret in the industry for years now.
BTC has very little of the original Bitcoin code. They will tell you that BSV is a "fork of a fork". If you compare BSV and BTC code to Satoshi's release, it is very clear BSV represents Bitcoin most accurately.
I realize saying this won't win me a popularity contest, but it is the truth.

Replying to @gladstein
More plausible: btc was hijacked by a corporation named Blockstream, by hiring key developers and heavily censoring discussions.
But I don’t believe either of those narratives; it is sad the community split into spiteful, warring factions.
From what I’m seeing right now @SecScottBessent needs to be the next president
Seems like the fee adjustment for BSV came at a good time. Happy to see smart people still involved.

Sadly, the overwhelming amount of violent crime in our major cities is committed by blacks and hispanics-a tough subject-must be discussed.
.@gc22gc @nataliegwinters has anyone asked @SecScottBessent if he can call Soros and politely ask him to stop?
