Le respect de l’entraîneur, encore et toujours ! 👏👏👏
🚨Patrice Evra on Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Portugal national team camp following Jorge Jesus’ press conference comments: 🗣️ Patrice Evra: “I look at this situation with utter disgust. You’re not talking about an upcoming player. You’re not talking about Gonçalo Ramos, Bruno Fernandes or João Félix. “You’re talking about Cristiano Ronaldo. “Before Jorge Jesus was anything in Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo was already Cristiano Ronaldo. So before anyone tells me Jorge is right, I want to ask one simple question: how many major trophies did Portugal win before Cristiano, and how many have they won with Cristiano leading that generation? “Now tell me how Portugal is supposed to replace that history. “You cannot disrespect the man, the name and everything he represents. Ronaldo carries history with him. The history of Portuguese football. The history of world football. “People watch Portugal because of Ronaldo. People travel to see Portugal because of Ronaldo. Stadiums sell out because people want to see Cristiano Ronaldo. That doesn’t mean Jorge Jesus has no importance, but let’s not pretend the two names carry the same weight. “Keeping Ronaldo on the bench and treating him like just another player is not some great managerial statement. For me, it is an insult. “Argentina would never treat Messi like he is irrelevant. Brazil would never forget what Neymar has done for their generation. England will always respect what Harry Kane has given them. “And we’re talking about a man who has carried Portugal for more than two decades. “For 25 years, Ronaldo has been criticised, attacked, doubted and told that his time was finished. Every generation has tried to push him out of the conversation. “And somehow, he kept coming back. “Then Jorge Jesus arrives and one of his first major decisions is to push Cristiano Ronaldo away? “Come on. “That tells me something. “Ronaldo helped create the level of attention surrounding Portuguese football that coaches like Jorge Jesus now benefit from. He gave Portugal relevance on the biggest stages. He gave millions of people a reason to watch. “And now we are supposed to believe that the answer is simply to remove him and move on? “No. “If Jorge Jesus is a smart coach, he doesn’t fight Cristiano Ronaldo. “He manages Cristiano Ronaldo. “You don’t need to start him every game. You don’t need to play him for 90 minutes. But you find a role for the greatest player in your country’s history. “You use his experience. You use his mentality. You use his influence on the younger players. “You don’t throw him away because he is 41. “And if Cristiano now decides that he doesn’t want to be part of this situation, then Jorge needs to look in the mirror and ask himself how he allowed it to reach this point. “Because when the biggest name in your dressing room walks away, you don’t simply say, ‘Next player.’ “You ask why. “And now I want to see Portugal without Cristiano. “I want to see how many people are watching. “I want to see the stadiums. “I want to see the pressure. “I want to see the results. “And most importantly, I want to see whether Portugal can maintain the same global relevance without the man who has carried that shirt for so long. “Because in the streets of Portugal, there is one rule you learn very quickly: You respect Cristiano Ronaldo. “You can disagree with him. “You can criticise his performances. “You can tell him when his time is coming to an end. “But you never forget what he gave you. “And Jorge Jesus better understand one thing you can replace a player on the pitch. You cannot replace history.”

Replying to @PascalPraud
#presidentielle2027

🚨🗣️New: Mohamed Salah on the controversial officiating decisions in Egypt and Argentina game, Messi and Argentina are being favored: “People will say Argentina showed the mentality of champions. Fine. But tell me this: when exactly did Egypt get the same protection from the officials? We scored a second goal. The stadium exploded. The world saw it. Then suddenly VAR became an archaeologist, digging through the ruins of football history to find a foul from another lifetime. Funny how they could rewind the game Five minutes to cancel our goal, but when I was brought down in the box, everyone suddenly forgot where the replay button was. That’s what hurts. Not losing. Not Argentina. The inconsistency. One decision gets examined under a microscope. Another gets buried under the carpet. We were told football is decided on the pitch. Tonight it felt like it was decided in a control room. And let’s talk about those final minutes. Two penalty appeals. Two moments that could have changed everything. Nothing. No review. No urgency. No explanation. Then Argentina go down the other end and score the winner. That isn’t a plot twist. That’s the kind of script that leaves millions of people asking questions. Egypt fought for every blade of grass. We defended. We believed. We earned our moments. But every time we climbed the mountain, someone moved the summit. The disallowed goal. The ignored penalty shouts. The cards flying around our bench because people who dedicate their lives to this game couldn’t understand what they were witnessing. And now we’re expected to smile and say football won? No. Football wins when the rules are applied equally. Football wins when VAR is a shield for fairness, not a sword that appears only when convenient. Because from where I’m standing, Egypt didn’t just lose 3-2. Egypt lost a goal, lost two penalty appeals, lost faith in consistency, and eventually lost a place in the quarter-finals. Maybe Argentina deserved to advance. Maybe they didn’t. That’s football. But what will make people angry isn’t the result. It’s the feeling that one team was forced to play against eleven men, the clock, and a set of decisions that seemed to change shape whenever the game demanded it. And that’s why this match will be remembered long after the scoreline is forgotten.”

Step 1: Remove filters in Reflecting Pool because Obama put them in. Step 2: Give your criminal neighbor who runs "Greenwater Services" a $20 million no-bid contract to paint the pool. Step 3: Fill the pool with water from the Potomac River, the phosphates from which cause algae blooms. Step 4: Freshly sealed pool and extreme heat result in a super scum event Step 5: Direct National Park Service to dump hydrogen peroxide into the pool which causes the paint to peel. Step 5: Deploy US National Guard to stop people from taking photos of the swamp as a perfect metaphor for the administration. Step 6: Blame someone else.
