Such a moving story: diagnosed with stage 4 ALK 🫁cancer before 30, controlled on lorlatinib, then pregnant. When lorlatinib was held, brain mets recurred. Lorlatinib was restarted at a low dose—and at #WCLC26 her boy joined mom onstage @NarjustFlorezMD @CharuAggarwalMD

Zidesamtinib receives for pts with ROS1+ NSCLC after a prior ROS1 inhibitor. Approval based on the ARROS1 trial that showed RR 44% after prior TKI with 1y DOR rate 69%. Very excited - but the TKI naive data were compelling to me (RR 89%, IC RR 83%).

Characterization of EGFR mutant NSCLC transformed to SCLC (n=45) @JTOonline. 70% received EP alone, 23% had EP combo (IO/TKI). Combo PFS 7.5m vs 2.8m (many confounders). DLL3+ in 88%, B7-H3+ in 67% but prior reports show poor RR to tarlatamab. ADCs here?

Adding consolidative thoracic radiotherapy to atezolizumab maintenance for extensive-stage small cell lung cancer led to more severe toxic effects, mainly infections, without survival benefit compared to atezolizumab alone. ja.ma/4gsF6aN

💉In a phase III RCT, NEPA + olanzapine was noninferior to the 4-day dex for CINV prevention.
😷Primary endpoint was no emesis/rescue meds in first 120h w/ 72.4% (dex) and 72.2% (no dex)
⭐️For pts w/ brittle diabetes or steroid induced psychosis, this is an immediate and practical modification!

Post hoc analysis of PACIFIC (durvalumab after CRT for stage III NSCLC) @TheLancetOncol shows 40% used PPIs at baseline; with durvalumab, PFS 9.4m vs 17.2m with no PPI (HR 1.57) and OS 33m vs 57.9m (HR 1.66). No difference with placebo. Similar PFS findings with antibiotics.
