i created an X account to document how i'm preparing to be a better partner to my future wife. i'll share monthly HYSA updates, weekly goals, and reflections on the work i'm doing. one day, i'll share it with her alongside the savings.

i’m blessed to be in a position where i can take on a full time job solely to build our future—putting half of every paycheck into a HYSA for the woman i’ll one day marry and the other half into my own. it'll be my wedding gift to her because i want her to have financial security independent of me and the autonomy to use that money however she chooses.
i prefer a woman who is dominant in the world but submissive to me. her submission is a conscious choice, not a result of societal expectations or upbringing. it isn't something she offers to strangers or anyone else. it's a part of herself she chooses to share exclusively w/ me.
i recall being at a party with my then gf when she dropped her lip gloss. two guys immediately bent down to pick it up for her. she didn't acknowledge either of them. instead, she simply kicked it toward me so i could pick it up. they saw an opportunity to get her attention. she made it clear who already had it. dominant in how she carried herself, yet intentional about whom she chose to be submissive to.
having money and giving it to someone while being emotionally immature and unsafe isn't enough. financial generosity doesn't make up for emotional neglect. money can provide comfort, but it can't replace love, care, and emotional security. how does the person you're with feel in your presence? do your words build them up or make them question themselves? do you speak to them with love and respect, even when you're frustrated? do you encourage them to value their mind, body, and time? are they becoming a softer, more confident version of themselves while being loved by you? providing is also about how you care for someone, not just what you can give them.

if i don't accept your request or block you after initially accepting it because i failed to do my due diligence, you fall under at least one of the following:
- you have engaged with or currently engage with someone who's spoken negatively about me.
- your account is new.
- your account has no engagement whatsoever.

there’s value in allowing people to reveal who they truly are without first telling them who you need them to be. when we give others the freedom to act without constant guidance or influence, we gain a clearer understanding of their values and intentions. who someone chooses to be on their own often reveals far more than who they become in response to expectations.
it's so cute that instead of saying, “pin me to a fucking door by my throat and make me regret being disobedient,” brats say, “make me,” which actually means, “i will be the bestest good girl you've ever had, i just need extra reassurance that you can handle me, and won't leave.”
y’all are just needy little monsters who require extra firm, yet gentle love.
