I didn’t get to talk about Dad much when he was alive due to him being super private. I think I may start sharing some of his stories on here.. He was wounded in Vietnam on July 2nd 1967. Took 2 shots from an AK to the chest, a grenade took half his bicep and small arms fire on his left leg. He some how made it home. His unit was called the walking dead due to it being one of the most bloodiest battles ever recorded in marine corps history. They were surrounded by an entire regiment of Vietcong.
