Every third minister in Maha has serious charges. One alone has 20 pending FIRs for hate speech.
But none of them face action. #SantoshPandit made viral videos highlighting VIP treatment, traffic violations. Within an hour of FIR against him, he was arrested.

Sinhagad Security Collapse! Women Harassed in Crowd, Tourists Terrified by Brawl and Stone-Pelting
Tourists who visited the historic Sinhagad Fort on Independence Day (August 15) were left facing a terrifying and unsafe experience. With crowd management in complete disarray, several tourists alleged that miscreants took advantage of the chaos to inappropriately touch and harass young women and girls. Adding to the chaos, a violent brawl broke out between two groups of troublemakers, escalating into stone-pelting that sent panic through the crowd. Shockingly, throughout this entire ordeal, there was no police presence or security personnel in sight to control the situation. While some local mandal workers were busy punishing a tourist with 100 sit-ups for chewing gutkha, eyewitnesses questioned why crowd control and tourist safety weren't the top priority instead. Questions are now being raised over whether the forest department and police administration will act before a bigger tragedy occurs at this historic site, associated with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and warrior Tanaji Malusare.

Supreme Court allows convicted rape-of-minor convict Asaram Bapu a full-time trained caregiver of his choice in jail.
Years earlier, 83-year-old undertrial Father Stan Swamy, suffering from Parkinson’s, had to fight for weeks just to get a straw and sipper so he could drink water without spilling. Medical bail repeatedly denied. He died in custody.
Same system. Same courts. Vastly different urgency for basic human dignity. Selective compassion isn’t justice. It’s the opposite.

Subject: Request for urgent upgradation of power infrastructure in Wakad, Ravet, Hinjawadi, Baner and surrounding IT corridors
Respected Sir,
On behalf of the Forum For IT Employees (FITE Maharashtra), we would like to draw your kind attention to the growing issue of frequent and prolonged power outages in Wakad, Ravet, Hinjawadi, Baner, Balewadi, Punawale and nearby areas of Pune.
These locations have witnessed rapid urbanisation over the last decade, with the development of numerous high-rise residential projects and a significant increase in population. They are also home to one of India’s largest IT hubs, where thousands of professionals work in hybrid and work-from-home arrangements.
Frequent electricity interruptions are causing severe hardship to residents and employees by:
* Disrupting work-from-home and business operations.
* Interrupting internet connectivity and online meetings.
* Affecting lifts, water pumps and essential services in high-rise buildings.
* Creating inconvenience for senior citizens, children and patients.
* Causing productivity losses for employees and organisations.
As Maharashtra continues to position itself as the country’s leading IT investment destination, uninterrupted and reliable electricity has become a critical infrastructure requirement rather than a basic utility.
We respectfully request your intervention to:
1. Conduct a comprehensive technical audit of the electricity distribution network in Wakad, Ravet, Hinjawadi, Baner and adjoining areas.
2. Upgrade substations, transformers, feeders and distribution lines to meet the increasing demand.
3. Strengthen the power infrastructure considering future residential and commercial growth.
4. Establish a preventive maintenance and monitoring mechanism to minimise unplanned outages.
5. Publish a long-term infrastructure augmentation plan along with timelines for implementation.
We are confident that your timely intervention will significantly improve the quality of life for lakhs of residents and ensure uninterrupted operations for Maharashtra’s IT workforce.
FITE Maharashtra would be pleased to meet the concerned officials and provide feedback received from IT employees and residents to support this initiative.
We sincerely hope this matter will receive your kind consideration and be taken up on priority.
Thanking You.
Yours faithfully,
Forum For IT Maharashtra

Punekars lives at stake once again
A visible crack has been detected on the Sinhgad Road bridge in Pune, raising concerns over the structure's safety among commuters and local residents. The bridge, which carries thousands of vehicles every day, has come under scrutiny after the damage was noticed by citizens.
Residents have urged the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and the concerned authorities to immediately inspect the bridge and conduct a detailed structural audit to assess the extent of the damage. They have also demanded that necessary repair work be undertaken without delay to prevent any potential risk to commuters.
With heavy monsoon rains continuing across Pune, citizens have expressed concern that the condition of the bridge could worsen if timely action is not taken. They have called on the authorities to ensure the bridge is safe for public use and to make the inspection findings public.
