He also said “I am the way the truth and the life and no one cometh to the father except by me”. John 14:6 He also said if you have seen Him you have seen the father. John 14:9

@JudsonCaroll1. You blocked me when I gave answers to your false assertions. I guess that says it all.

Look, I think we have a lot to learn and appreciate about the ancients. But this genuflecting to Ancient Rome — an empire that loved foreign wars more than any “neocon” ever will, considered slavery central to their way of life and economy, and persecuted Christians (you can look it up) — is sometimes too much to take from self-proclaimed Christian moralists.

The top 1% of income earners already pay 40% of the income tax, and their share has been gradually increasing over time.

This might the heart of the difference in what Protestant and Catholics teach about salvation. Contrary to what this priest (I assume that’s what he is) says, in Romans 10 Paul says “the word of faith is near you, in your mouth and your heart.” Not as near as your nearest sacrament dispenser, but literally as near, Paul says, as your own mouth and your heart are to you. “For if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:8-10). Contrary to this priest’s analogy, grace is not an heavenly substance dispensed in “medicinal-like capsules” from a priest like a doctor gives out medicine. God’s grace is his declaring us righteous because of our faith in the finished work of Christ (Romans 4:5). Literally, Paul says, faith is “counted as” righteousness. God’s grace is not a substance; it is himself as he unites himself to us, making us righteous and alive in him as he puts his Spirit into us (Gal 2:20). And how are we united to him? By faith (Gal 3:1-3). “O foolish Galatians! Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith?” Having been justified by faith and filled with the Spirit by faith, connecting to the church—and hearing the word preached, participating in the ordinances, etc—these don’t bestow additional grace, but are means by which God stimulates the outworking of the Spirit he’s put into us. God is his own best gift. God himself is the gift of the gospel. I’m not trying to pick on this priest, but clarity on the gospel is crucial. It is everything.
Protestants reject God’s grace…

Good. SALT subsidizes high tax blue states. If people in those states don't like their high taxes, they should vote out Dems, not beg for a federal deduction.
TRUMP has completely flipped on salt. He says raising the cap benefits democratic governors. “We don’t want to benefit democrat governors,” Trump said in response to my question.

Why isn’t an opt out in this MD case a good deal? Every time I see those opposed they argue like the literature is going to be banned. No. Parents just get to opt their kids out. Now on this particular issue when large numbers of parents are opting out, it says something.

A problem people have is they equate the calling out of sin and the defense of biblical morality as being unforgiving. Sin is still sin. We are all forgiving something when we forgive. What is that? Sin. We should be gracious and loving. We should also stand for biblical truth.

As theories for things go, “Dumb people acting stupidly” is a good base default until you can get some evidence for a more advanced conspiracy.

According to MAGA's logic, if Russia invades and tries to annex Alaska, we should just let them have it to avoid "needless bloodshed" and hypothetical WW3

Once Trump is gone I will really be glad to unify behind a same conservative candidate who the left will paint as the worst man who ever lived. Democrats are toxic. Republicans if you could get rid of Trump I could support you.

The only essential beliefs for complementarians: men are head of the home and they are elders in the church. Nothing more. It doesn’t speak to women’s general ability to lead. It doesn’t prevent women from discipling, teaching, or evangelizing so long as they aren’t elders. /1

/2. It isn’t about ability or qualifications. There is almost nothing that every man is better than every woman at doing. That goes for preaching. Preaching in front of the whole church with authority is the job of an elder. This women don’t do it because God said not to.

Actually my 2 was 3. My answer to 2 is wrapped up in my answer to 1 though God may be representing reality by directly affecting our minds.
