Every use of a leaf blower is a massacre.
A typical blower pushes air out at 150 to 200 mph. That's faster than a Category 5 hurricane, aimed straight at the layer of leaves where next year's butterflies, moths, and fireflies are hoping to spend the winter.
Woolly bear caterpillars curl up under those leaves. Luna moths hide their cocoons in them, disguised as dead leaves. Fireflies lay their eggs in them. Bumblebee queens sleep an inch or two below. Blast the beds down to bare dirt and all of it gets scattered, exposed or bagged for the landfill.
Flip it to vacuum mode and it's even worse. It sucks up whatever's in the leaves, insects and spiders included, and chops it up.
In 2019, Germany's environment ministry told people not to use leaf blowers unless they're indispensable, because small animals get sucked in or blown around and damaged.
Get a rake. Move the leaves off the lawn and driveway, pile them whole in your garden beds and under your trees, and leave them there until spring.
Next year's bumblebees and fireflies will thank you.

2020 : 114,9 %
2021 : 112,8 % ⬇️

2023 : 109,5 % ⬇️
2024 : 112,6 % ⬆️ dissolution.
2025 : 115,7 % ⬆️
Entre 2020 et 2023, le poids de la dette a reculé de 5,4 points de PIB, malgré le Covid, la guerre en Ukraine et la crise énergétique !
Une Assemblée sans majorité, des groupes parlementaires réclamant davantage de dépenses, contestant les économies, multipliant les exigences fiscales et renversant les gouvernements.
Des Premiers ministres contraints à des compromis permanents, sans parvenir à inscrire leur action dans une stratégie économique durable.
On réclame davantage de dépenses, on refuse les économies et, finalement, on accuse Emmanuel Macron de tous les maux !
Je considère que la stratégie du président, fondée sur l’investissement, la réindustrialisation, l’innovation et la souveraineté européenne, n’a pas été suffisamment portée par les gouvernements successifs.
Depuis 2024, ceux qui disposent du pouvoir de bloquer, de censurer ou de négocier les budgets doivent également assumer les conséquences de leurs décisions.
Des groupes parlementaires capables de bloquer les budgets, d’imposer des négociations et de renverser les gouvernements.
Le 4 décembre 2024, 331 députés, notamment issus de la gauche et du RN, censurent le gouvernement Barnier.
Le 8 septembre 2025, 364 députés refusent la confiance au gouvernement Bayrou.
Deux faits politiques majeurs dont les conséquences institutionnelles sont incontestables.
Mais nous ne devons pas oublier les menaces du président du groupe parlementaire LR avant la dissolution, qui promettait de déposer une motion de censure. Celle-ci aurait non seulement fait tomber le gouvernement, mais aussi provoqué une onde de choc qui aurait pu révéler au grand jour une alliance entre LR et le RN.
Du reste, nous avons pu constater le rapprochement de Ciotti avec Marine Le Pen. Et aujourd’hui encore, de nombreux responsables LR revendiquent le fait de ne pas avoir voté pour Emmanuel Macron en 2022.
Mais alors, pour qui ont-ils voté au second tour ?
Il est trop facile de tout mettre sur le dos d’Emmanuel Macron tout en refusant d’assumer ses propres responsabilités !
🇫🇷 La dette est une responsabilité collective. La mauvaise foi politique ne doit pas effacer les faits !
