There's this free open-source tool called World Monitor that basically gives regular people their own live global intelligence dashboard.
Think Palantir for everyone.
Interactive 3D globe, over 500 news feeds, AI summaries, military activity, natural disasters, cyber incidents, flights, ships, markets, and 56 stackable map layers.
It has a Country Stress Index, supports 25 languages, works on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and even runs local AI through Ollama with no API keys needed.
