South Colonie Central School District in New York now serves Halal and plans TO GO 100% HALAL
But that’s not all, school districts all over are implementing permanent Halal meals for students
- Brentwood Union Free School District on Long Island, Suffolk County passed a resolution in 2022 for permanent halal options in all of its kitchens
- Niskayuna Central School District in Capital Region, Schenectady area offers daily certified halal options
- Enlarged City School District of Middletown Orange County has Halal meals available since May 2025
- Bay Shore Union Free School District in Long Island added and labeled halal lunch options starting around September 2025

The crazy thing is most of there programs are new, just implemented within the last couple years. The insanely fast speed at which Muslims are getting our rules changed in America is extremely concerning
