most ai tools can save you time, but you still have to explain what you need, fix mistakes, and keep giving them context. sometimes it feels like more work than it should be.
i like that @workmate is building around how people already work instead of making them learn a whole new way of doing things just to use ai.
i’m also interested in the forward-deployed engineer approach. having people who understand the business build and improve the agents could make a real difference.
if these agents can handle repeatable tasks and work together without constant human supervision, teams could spend less time managing processes and more time doing the work that moves the business forward.
that’s the part i want to see play out in practice.

Working in at my IRL job made me realise how much time companies waste on tasks AI could easily handle.
We’re still manually reviewing files, checking data across different systems every day.
The problem isn’t that AI isn’t good enough, it’s that most companies haven’t integrated it into how they actually operate.
That’s why I find @workmate approach interesting. Instead of giving employees another generic AI tool, they build agents around the company’s existing workflows and actually maintain them.
