$BTC Five consecutive wins last week. Interestingly, the most difficult one was the trade I almost didn't take. I quoted it below. It was a short shared on September 30, at 1:30 PM UTC. Check the timestamp and check what happened afterwards. A strong-looking pump retraced fully and vigorously. Shorts were paid, and fast too, after CZ manipulated the pump. So why was this trade hard? It's simple. I didn't know in advance that it was going to retrace like that, let alone this fast. At the moment of taking a trade, you don't know what's next. You have predictions, a plan, a direction, and timing. But then comes the pump. Strong, aggressive, and right into short poi You enter, yes, as per plan, thanks to local order flow providing confirmation. But order flow can be chaotic during massive pumps. And holding a short after a large whale-driven pump, with that touch of the unknown, is scary. Even with a clear plan, a clear short trigger, and timing. Especially when price rushes up hard after CZ gives it a push. His pumps often retrace before going higher later (exactly what happened), but if our timing had been slightly off, or if there had been a second stage to the pump then it was a market exit and loss taken right into the real top before the move down. Which could have been frustrating. And we still had large Binance limit orders holding up price too, seemingly suggesting a second stage was coming. But suddenly, those orders were pulled. Price dropped like a rock. And I looked like a genius. Some trades go like that. Not all trades are easy. The long afterwards was a lot easier, despite delivering a bigger reward. Some trades are easy, some are hard. And the reward has little to do with how difficult they feel in the moment. We take what the market gives us, one step at a time. The rest is hindsight.
