Roughly 5 mb/d, 5% of global consumption. Safe to say China is back in the market. Will be interesting to watch the 2027 futures react to this
That’s the big one. When Abqaiq has to shut down, oil supply will really crater.
We’ll see if this time it’s serious, last time it wasn’t.
Of course we won’t find out for sure until a few days after
So now Ukraine goes for the oil infrastructure as well, that could get interesting for the region
Exactly, Philip’s point is that the image itself is possibly manipulated given the source.
Given that they have images going back years, how difficult would it be to suddenly deliver 2024 images with a new date on it?
Nobody is questioning the math skills of people involved in the counting, that’s not the point.

Actually Phillip asked a simple question you should be able to answer easily if you think the image is evidence of anything: where did it come from?

Tanker a day keeps the oil glut away…

#Gold and #Silver are telling us the short term oil shortage is probably real.
Trump and the Saudis are probably lying. Even the maritime trackers are probably lying and under CIA control.
Gold, silver and the bond market are telling us we are on the edge of an acute USD liquidity crisis caused by the oil shortage. A diesel shortage will probably hit first.
Exactly, that’s what I don’t get. There are experts saying oil can’t go over 120 because it would kill the economy.
All this might do is bring the crack spreads down.
Higher oil prices don’t necessarily mean higher gas or diesel prices with this kind of crack spread.

Also, consumers buy gasoline and diesel, not crude oil.
Higher crude oil prices are actually good for the US economy: bisoninterests.com/content/f…

The past decade has really made me reassess the nature of WW1 & 2.
What has Russia actually done to increase hostility with the West? Well, they blew up Nordstream, right? Nope. That was a CIA/Ukraine operation blamed on Russia. But they installed Trump in 2016, right? Nope. That was a CIA/FBI operation to hand the WH to Hillary Clinton. But they invaded Ukraine, right? Well, yeah. After decades of NATO expansion and provocations like Maidan, they finally did something about it.
So, in short, Russia did basically nothing to the West. And yet the West is ramping up for direct war against Russia all across Europe.
Does the public support it? No. Not at all.
Just as the debt supercycle hits many quadrillions a major war seems to have been created out of thin air.
So you might want to reconsider your historical understandings of world wars and recognize that you're currently living thru the latest bullshit chapter.
The Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow this morning was apparently the largest of the entire war so far -- clearly they have been stockpiling for a while. It also included missiles, though they were all shot down as far as I can tell. Most of the 500+ drones were intercepted (1600+ total, a third aimed at Moscow), but several impacted residential buildings and the Moscow Oil Refinery. At least two civilians were killed in Moscow oblast.
I’m sure those energy companies will line up to invest in EU countries after all of this is over
BREAKING: EU governments are now discussing an EU-wide windfall tax on energy companies, potentially 33% or more, as record fuel prices pile pressure on the EU to contain mounting public discontent, with Germany leading the push and demanding proposals by October.
Across the EU petrol is up 24% on the year, diesel 38%, jet fuel more than 100%, and benchmark gas 150% to €81 a megawatt hour. German diesel hit a record €2.47 a litre this week, Dutch diesel €2.78, and 11% of French stations are out of petrol or diesel this morning.
Europe’s energy crisis is getting worse.

Seems the port in Yanbu has been bombed multiple times, nobody talking about that.
Same with the smoke on Das island.
We really have to run out of oil and oil products so people actually wake up.
But then we have demand destruction, so oil will go even lower…

"At what point will we run out of tankers willing to risk transiting the Strait of Hormuz?"
And at what point do we simply not have enough tankers - period? Losing a few tankers each week starts to add up after a while.....

MEDIA SILENCE:
Today, 3 important developments occurred for world economy:
1) E/W Saudi pipeline carrying 7 mbpd or 7% of global consumption was blown off in multiple locations. GDP impact is -10%.
2) Houthis captured control of BAM Strait.
3) Oil price jumped 10%.
See how much of that information is given to you by the legacy media...
