Jailbroken PS5 console managed to make PlayStation 2 games run on PS5 from disc, without even importing digital files🚀
This means Sony were deliberately keeping players from running their games that can work just fine, just so they can sell the games again on PS Store / PS+
Modders are also working on making PS3 games run from disc on PS5, also after Sony telling us it’s “hard” to do so, due to “different infrastructure”
And now you see how far Sony’s greed has gotten. XBOX could always run games from all past generations, full backwards compatibility, yet Sony somehow pretended it was hard, and they once pretended to be shocked as to “why would anyone wanna play old games”?
And there you have it, it’s greed. The same reason they wanna convince you discs are a niche market and don’t sell when data proved them wrong💿

.@elonmusk Sword used Grok to build PS5SX2 and made it open source so gamers can finally play the PS2/3 games they already own on disc on their PS5.
Gamers asked Sony for this for years and were told it wasn’t possible. Now one dev using Grok has done it.
To me, this shows PlayStation was lying to the whole gaming community while selling us remakes and remasters of games we already paid for.
The greed is sickening.

Let me explain why this narrative is huge.
Sony spent years grifting, saying PS2/3 games couldn’t run on PS5 because the tech was too complicated.
They lied to keep selling remasters and subscriptions instead of letting gamers play the discs they already own.
Sword used Grok to build PS5SX2 and gave gamers what they’d wanted from Sony for years: a way to play their own games on PS5.
He’s project is giga viral. Millions of views, big gaming accounts covering it on X, YT and TT.
Everyone is talking because it’s exposed how greedy these corporations are.
We’re fully supporting him so he can keep building and maintaining PS5SX2.

This is crazy, a jailbroken PS5 can now play original PS2 game discs directly, without needing to copy the games to digital files first.
Modders have found a way to use the PS5’s disc drive to read original PS2 DVDs and run the games through an emulator.
But they’re not stopping there. Modders are also working on getting original PS3 discs to work on the PS5
So Sony could have made this possible years ago, but they never did, they preferred to keep charging users for useless remakes.

I sympathize and admire Trump’s restraint. He’s a man with reverence for the office and he wants things to return to normal. He believes his good conduct can help that along.
He’s dead wrong, of course. Communists only understand fear and pain.
But still, I admire it.

🚨 LAWSUIT UPDATE 🚨
Bad news for Alyssa Mercante in her lawsuit against me.
Judge Brodie DENIED her sanctions appeal, stating SPECIFICALLY:
“The Court therefore (1) declines to set aside Judge Eshkenazi’s decision and (2) concludes that there is no basis to issue an OTSC or impose sanctions against Defendant.”
...And EVEN WILDER:
an ACTUAL QUOTE from the judge who seems quite PISSED OFF at Alyssa and her activist lawyers shenanigans.
The Court even said specifically that it “questions the motives behind Plaintiff’s expansive request” after wasting judicial resources reviewing it!
And finally:
“The Court also lifts the stay and directs the Clerk of Court to transfer this case to the District Court for the Southern District of California.”
The case is officially leaving New York and heading to California.
