I see a lot of people out here making bubble hash that looks like straight Poop! Lol, color can vary based on genetics, but regardless, 90% of the time, it's a light shaded variation Tan/white/grey-white, etc.. If you produce dark poop colored bubble hash, it could be cuase of the following reasons 1. not letting the water cool enough prior. 2. Over beating it ( the famous drill method with a paint mixer , I've done it myself before, but it's easy to overdo) 3. Poor quality material, to produce high-quality bubble hash , you must use high-quality material. 4. A combination of these things. If you can't afford a washer, doing it by hand is fine. I suggest using your hands or something gentle to manually stir and agitate the material. I have actually used 2 pairs of latex gloves with a winter insulated glove in-between to make a water prove gloves I could use to with stand the cold temperatures, working it with my hands was always my preferred manual method. (I currently use a machine with the work bag or aka soccer ball) Getting your glandular heads to snap off is more about temperature than aggressive agitation.
