🛡️ An update to ShieldGuard is now live.

ALT SHIELDGUARD UPDATE As part of our investigation to reduce crashes and cheating, we have identified that some third-party extensions are problematic to the overall experience for PC players. To help us with resolving crashing issues and to reinforce Anti-Cheat efforts, we have taken the decision to disable them. If you are using one of those affected extensions, a BattlEye pop up will appear to inform you that a file has been blocked. (There will be no reputation impact for blocked extensions users.) No action is required, and this change will be effective immediately.

Bu...bu...but...guys... I...I...thought @VarsityGamingTV sai..said... i was spreading a fake leak....
And this guy instantly believed Ubi when he emailed them.
I can't bro, get your information right next time please.
New Siege X ban system has been implemented,
If you play "too many matches" with a cheater before he gets banned, as soon as that cheater gets banned, your account will be automatically flagged and you will get banned at the end of the month no matter if you are a legit player or not.
It will be a permanent ban.

I've just watched Varsity's latest video.
Not saying that im going to take His/Ubisoft word on this one but its very strange that when i see people rather that its ( brand new accounts or old ones ), just starting playing with cheaters in their squad for a specific amount of games, they get banned for "Association" or with the correct term "Data Ban" as soon as the cheater logs back in for acknowledging the ban.
In my previous tweet, i said that it was new, which to correct myself its been a thing already for a little more amount of time.
i had lots of people that reached out to me after the tweet via either Twitter dms/comments, Discord asking to me why they got banned or if it was actually true.
When you check their accounts, you see that they queued with cheaters for some games ( some a lot, some not ) and if you check their ban reason via the API, they ALL comeback to the exact same ban reason "Data ban".
This is not a made up thing, for the people that knows how to use the API properly, you can check it by yourself.
On top of that, not myself cause i barely play the game anymore, some people that i know made tests with brand new accounts since the game if now free and queued with 1 or multiple cheaters.
After a specific amount of games, as soon as that cheater was banned, when he acknowledge his ban message the new accounts that he was playing with were banned for reason : "Data Ban".
Hope i was clear about some things, im still not sure why would Ubisoft say to him that this is straight up not a thing unless they lied to him when literal tests were made to confirm the situation of the recent ban wave which was around 15K~ players.
It may or may not be 100% accurate and maybe this is the reason why they are saying no, but i will stand with all of the things i said.
And one more thing,
It also would be much appreciated from Ubisoft to make an acknowledgment for this rather than saying in email to a content creator " yeah man its not true " and believing a mans word in a video, just saying.
This is what lacks with Ubisoft, TRANSPARENCY.
