The ridiculous arguments by Ambani’s army of Internet shills make no sense
On the one hand, they say Starlink couldn’t possibly compete with the amazing low prices offered by Ambani’s de facto monopoly in India and then, in the same breath, they essentially claim that Starlink would be too strong of a competitor! This is absurd hypocrisy and hyperbole.
The reality is that competition would greatly benefit the average citizen in India by giving them more choices, as it always does. Ambani’s profits will be lower, but he is not going out of business. And, obviously, if Starlink is too expensive in India, no one will buy it, so SpaceX will need to make pricing affordable.
Something feels off with this chorus of “India’s internet is great and super cheap” … the data shows that Indian market is absolutely dominated by mobile. When they say it’s cheap and well connected factually this only applies to mobile usage.
This makes sense because a tower connects thousands of subs instantly after construction and running fiber is a building by building or resident by resident job. This is also why “fixed wireless” has started growing fast. Follow the incentives. It’s the cheapest and shortest route to revenue.
Due to this, India is amongst the highest mobile bandwidth usage populations on the planet. 30-40GB/month. (20-50% above US/UK usage) However, home Fiber lines in India pull closer to 300GB/month. 10x gap
For context, that gap in the US and UK is 20-30x. It’s pretty ubiquitous that if you have access to a lot of more bandwidth you will use it.
Bandwidth abundance does not favor mobile devices.
I’d argue that it’s not very hard to believe that these paltry sub 5% fixed customer penetration numbers would be much higher if a cost effective alternative existed.
Is that alternative existed it wouldn’t be crazy to expect to see the fixed customer numbers jump from 6% to maybe 10%, 15% or 20%. 100M-200M customers.
And if the rest of the world is any precedent that would lead to a dramatic increase in overall bandwidth used.
However, that would mean that mobile bandwidth usage would likely drop or stagnate with in home mobile usage.

Following yesterday's officer involved shooting in New York, numerous lies about the incident and ICE operations in the city have been parroted by sanctuary politicians.
ICE will never stop protecting New Yorkers by arresting and removing illegal aliens.

Professor at @UBuffalo Joseph Hundley was reportedly “driving erratically” while trying to tail a border patrol vehicle conducting operations in the Buffalo area
Agents called police after they observed his car following them to multiple locations and “driving recklessly”
When police pulled him over he claimed he was just driving to work
We received this report via FOIA request after receiving a tip about his behavior.
Is conducting anti-ICE scouting work appropriate behavior for a professor in your institution @UBuffalo??

As I keep telling you: the DSA are all just undeservedly wealthy, self-loathing malcontents with no scruples, who can lie as effortlessly as they breathe. It’s not an ideology. It’s a religious cult. Socialism is a mind virus.
JUST IN: The mother of Elon Musk’s 13th child, Ashley St. Clair, says she is now a dues-paying member of the Democratic Socialists of America and gets emotional, saying she feels guilt about any role she played in pushing for the Trump administration to ban sex changes for minors.
It is evident in this interview that St. Clair displays sociopathic tendencies and would harm her own child to spite Elon.
She gives off major Lindsay Clancy vibes.

So Doris Leachman and Hillary got together to complain about something from ten years ago….
Ten years ago tonight, Donald Trump got in Hillary's head at their debate.
And ten years later, Hillary is still fuming about it.
"I've thought about that 100,000 times."
She was completely rattled:
"I'm thinking, okay, if I turn on him and say, what are you doing? Or, back off. Does that look like I can't handle him? Does that look like I am rattled?"
"Does that look like I, you know, I'm a woman who shouldn't be in the Oval Office if I ignore it?"
"So I ignored it. I mean, that was what I eventually decided to do because I didn't want to look either, like I was being made to be nervous."
Completely melted under pressure -- and carries it with her every day of her life.
(This interview is from August of this year.)

This story is trending in Japan.
A Pakistani national raped and robbed a woman in her 20s.
In Shinjuku Kabukicho, he held a knife and threatened that he'll kill her. He used a translation app to threaten her "I have buddies" and "Don't tell anyone about this", extracting her address to silence her.
When arrested, he smiled at the camera with no hint of remorse. Mass deportations are far overdue.

"We weren’t aware the child was in the car I can tell you that. But do you know who was? Oscar. Oscar knew he had a child in his car. Oscar chose to accelerate at a high rate of speed and ram two different vehicles as it appears he was going towards officers. And so the public outcry should also be towards this criminal, this thug, this gangbanger, this possible murderer, the outrage should be with him for endangering the five year old.” @SecMullinDHS

I am deeply disturbed that idiotic pols on the public dime like this clown are attacking ICE agents for arresting criminal illegal aliens. Yes, I know Im being snarky, but consider the utter idiocy of what this guy is saying. There is no doubt that the illegal who was shot was not just here illegally, but he was also a depraved criminal. He was here illegally and committing violent crimes against real taxpayers and real citizens. We know this AND YET, progressive pols, the people we pay to protect us, are coming to his defense. This is lunacy
I’m deeply disturbed by ICE agents shooting an unarmed man in the Bronx, especially with a 5-year-old in the vehicle. I demand a full independent investigation, with all facts and footage made public. I stand with my fellow New Yorkers during this difficult time.

CNN reporter waits til after the Paramount deal has closed to report on the lie Becerra has been telling.
This lie has been told for decades. Literally decades.
Xavier Becerra has described himself as "a son of immigrants" and said repeatedly that his "parents came to America with $12 in their pocket."
But his father was actually born in Sacramento and has always been an American citizen.
The Democratic candidate for California Governor told the L.A. Times that “I am very proud of my parents, and I consider them immigrants because even though my dad was born in the U.S. — in a country that wouldn’t treat him the way it would treat other U.S. citizens — my dad was a proud immigrant...I am proud that I am their son. I am the son of immigrants.”
