We are absolutely over the moon to share that we have been granted £2,825,361 from @HeritageFundUK for the delivery phase of ‘A Homely Future for St Michael’s Place’, Warwick.
@Warwick_DC @HistoricEngland
Thank you to @andy4wm for highlighting the importance and benefits of our work
Our heritage is so important to the West Midlands’ story, but without concerted action we’re at real risk of losing it.
The fantastic new @wmheritage charity is up & running, but they can’t do it all alone.
Our future as a region needs to build on our past, not erase it.
Last night we officially launched 'West Midlands Heritage Trust' at the Old Palace, Worcester. Thank you to our trustees, members and sector professionals who joined us to hear the vision for the new charity and watch @andy4wm cut the ribbon alongside @Corinne_Brazier (chair).
This week is #VolunteersWeek
Our volunteers give so much to our organisation, whether they are trustees, history researchers or are new memory collecting team. Without them we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. Thank you to each and every one of you.
We’ve sent out something exciting to our close network recently. If you usually hear from us but haven’t lately, have a quick peek in your junk or spam folder!
We are awaiting your R.S.V.P.

From the WMHBT team and Trustees, we'd like to say thank you for all of your support this year and wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. We'll be back in 2025, but for now there's a lot of mince pies to eat!

The new mural is now complete at Willow Court Farmhouse, with huge thanks to @WMHBT and @HeritageFundUK. Fantastic effort by Armit Singh and the students of Droitwich Spa High School and Sixth Form Centre.
