Congrats to these brave girls. Every adult who has refused to stand up for them should watch this video with shame.
Tonight in Washington state, nearly half the Camas High School girls cross country team refused to compete against a boy on their own team.
He switched from the boys' team just one month ago.
Now he's placing in every meet.
Courage always wins.

It’s hard enough for most teams to beat Alabama or Georgia on any given night due to the talent gap present. Because not only are they just typically better, they often get way more benefit of the doubt on close calls as they occur on things exactly like DPI, short distance spots, etc.
That’s why it’s always intriguing to me when they play each other because of a circumstantial dynamic that exists. Whoever gets that last benefit of the doubt typically ends up winning the close game. And then the losing fanbase has no idea how to handle it because 1) they aren’t used to losing anyway 2) especially in that way.
Hello. Welcome.

At some point, baseball has to get back to valuing ballplayers and not just numbers on a screen. Give me the Freddie Freemans, the Buster Poseys, Hunter Pences, Pablo Sandovals, Michael Youngs, Ian Kinslers of the world. Guys who just flat out know how to play the game. Everyone wants to talk launch angle and exit velo, but what happened to valuing a quality at bat?” The 9-pitch battle that might end in an out, but forces a pitcher to show everything he’s got.
The guy who hits behind the runner, takes what’s given, or just refuses to give a pitcher an easy inning. Those at-bats might not look sexy in the box score, but they show up in the 7th, 8th, and 9th. Some of these dudes could absolutely leave the yard too. That’s the point. They weren’t one-dimensional. Somewhere along the way, we confused measurable tools with knowing how to win baseball games.
I’m not against analytics or hitting the ball hard, but there is an art to winning that you can’t fully measure. We need more guys who know how to play baseball, not just hitters, not just athletes, ballplayers. And I promise you, those dudes never go out of style

Auburn has more fans that are okay with being below mediocre than any team in the SEC. Thats why Cohen can get away with it. There is a huge portion of the fanbase that loves the concept of Auburn more than Auburn having success. I couldn’t give a shit about lemonade.

Some folks are saying that Jordan-Hare wasn’t all that great on Saturday—
… Yeah, well not a single current student has witnessed a winning season. There has to be a certain level of belief for there to be magic in Jordan-Hare again.

Criteria to be a football fan of a college football team
1. You went/go to school there
2. You grew up/lived in the same town
3. Parents/Grandparents graduated from there
Anything else and it’s stupid. You should have a connection to the football team you’re rooting for

I don’t really care if you root for a school you did not attend
The issue stems from all the fans who hold a level of elitism over people because they root for xyz school
The one thing t-shirt fans will never understand is the true level of love and appreciation for a university as a whole you get from attending/graduating from a university. That’s the difference.
As long as you understand I’m a better fan of Texas State because of my experiences and time as a student than you are for *insert big school* you did not attend, I have no issues
The woman in the photo grew up literally down the road, won 4 Utah state championships (1 in this exact stadium), Gatorade Player of the Year twice, National Player of the Year, scored the fastest first goal in USWNT history…
Could probably be worth a mention, but idk.

OH MY GOODNESS! 🙏💪
Mauricio Ruffy from Brazil just won by TKO and then this happened:
He thanked his wife he thanked Dana White and the UFC. Then he announced “I have a message:”
He quoted John 3:16 and said that Jesus changed his life and he ended with an appeal to give your life to Jesus! 🙏
At the end he said when he met his wife he didn’t have enough money to have a real wedding and so he proposed to his wife in front of the world asking her to marry him! 😂❤️

This video is PEAK comedy gold. I felt this in my SOUL. 😂
“Can’t stand these fckn bicyclists” — my brother, you just narrated my morning commute.
He nails it: Grown-ass men in skin-tight neon spandex outfits looking like a pack of radioactive Power Rangers, riding three-wide like it’s the Peloton Championships on a residential road. No one’s handing out medals at the cul-de-sac, Kyle. You’re not transporting a heart for surgery. You’re just expensive, slow-moving road geese with $10k carbon fiber attitudes.
One? Fine. Eight? That’s a tactical formation. That’s how civilizations fall.
I’m honking, I’m crying, I’m in agreement. Save us from the Lycra Legion. He nails every reason I can’t stand the bicycle militia.
