There was a time when your mother's handwriting was everywhere. On lunch bags. On birthday cards. On notes left on the kitchen table. You never thought twice about it. Until one day, seeing that handwriting became more valuable than anything she could have bought you.

Senator Cotton is right. Permanent Daylight Savings has been tried and Americans didn’t like it. The better way is permanent Standard Time because it’s based on science. No dark mornings, it keeps our time in sync with the Sun, and no more changing the clocks. Arizona has been on Standard Time year round since 1968 without issue.
No one likes changing the clock, me included, but Congress has enacted permanent Daylight Savings Time multiple times before and repealed it each time once Americans experienced absurdly late sunrises in the winter. Arkansans don’t want their kids going to school in the pitch dark, and I’ll always put Arkansas first.

Every Democrat should condemn this guy, especially those who have shared a stage with him.
First it was “America deserved 9/11,” now this: Left-wing streamer Hasan Piker tells Axios he believes America conducts more terrorism in the world than al-Qaeda, the terror network that carried out the 9/11 attacks. axios.com/2026/09/17/hasan-p…

I will never understand why people get offended when you say a movie’s runtime is too long. I’m sorry, but this has become a huge problem with a lot of movies nowadays. There are certain films that earn their longer runtimes, where every scene matters and things fly by. But there are way too many movies where scenes feel drawn out, unnecessary, repetitive, or simply do little to nothing to move the story forward. A movie being too long doesn’t mean I have a short attention span. It means the pacing, storytelling and editing didn’t justify the runtime. There’s nothing better than watching a great film where every moment feels perfectly synced with the story being told. The Only Living Pickpocket in New York, which I saw yesterday, is a perfect example of that. Not a single minute is wasted. Bottom line: if the storytelling earns its runtime, you shouldn’t be thinking or talking about the length of the film because it ultimately shouldn’t matter.

Got around to watching The Mandalorian and Grogu. There's no excuse for a movie this bad. Two disparate stories awkwardly jammed together with a flimsy plot. A bunch of poor,y developed boring one dimensional characters. To quote Master Yoda, "How embarrassing"

It's not just sharing anecdotes. That's not what's going on in modern media. The writing now is "I'm fill-in-the-blank" followed up by some hectoring screed to the audience about inequities, victimization, oppression, colonization, etc.

All this accomplishes is to divide society more and more. We're seeing it play out in real time and it's not going to end well. It's creating a raft of grifters and hustlers on both sides of the political spectrum and in the final act, everyone is going to be worse off.

This "upbringing" stuff is absolutely political. The point of superheroes is to uphold and defend commonly agreed upon principles of ethics and morality. To treat everyone equally and with dignity.

What progressives are advocating for is inequality. To segregate and grant privilege to certain groups couched in the guise of loaded language like "kindness" or "empathy" or whatever well meaning language they choose.

#BoldandBeautiful #BB Darcy is trying my last nerve. A grown woman acting like some ditzy 20-something Elle Woods/Valley Girl character.

You can’t take cuticle scissors on a plane, totally takes me out of the movie. Also he can still see out of one eye - wait to deal with this until you land, dude! #Clayface
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
According to the TSA, scissors are allowed in carry-on luggage as long as the blades are less than 4 inches from the pivot point. Cuticle scissors typically meet this requirement and are permitted on flights. tsa.gov/travel/securit…
