Late to #SmallBeautiesHour, but here are some recent #SmallBeauties: a heaven of cow parsley, wandering with @willwalking's 'Songs of the Way' for spontaneous warbling purposes (also loving my basket & offerings to hawthorn trees). Plus, finding a tiny egg, & loving ground-ivy.

In August 2019, I decided to walk along a forgotten pilgrimage route over the downs of southern England, between the chalk and the sea. 250 miles, several national lockdowns and three years later, the postman pushed the book proofs through my letterbox. @AgentSophieL @headlinepg

Let’s get #ScrapNHSBill to number 1 on the UK twitter trends. Let’s make sure everybody understands what MPs will be voting on tomorrow.
The Health and Care Bill will accelerate NHS privatisation. Patients will suffer if this Bill goes through.
We must #ScrapNHSBill 🚨

I get told frequently by Conservative MPs that the public aren’t bothered about private companies running NHS services and making a profit.
I don’t think this is correct. If you would like profit-making to be removed from the NHS, pls RT.
Let’s see!

We’ve been told by some MPs that their constituents ‘don’t mind who provides their healthcare’ and don’t mind private companies skimming a profit from the NHS.
If you disagree with this, pls RT💙

Today, I - Will Parsons @willwalking - am leaving the British Pilgrimage Trust.
It has been 7 years since I first dreamed of creating a charity to renew pilgrimage in Britain. I wanted spiritual travel on foot to become normal again, despite the two Henrys (T Ford and VIII).

12 February is the feast of St Julian the Hospitaller, in medieval tradition the patron of wayfarers and pilgrims and those who give them lodging. Ancrene Wisse, St Julian's house, and the 'homeliest home' aclerkofoxford.blogspot.com/…

Hey Twitter, this is a friendly request.
I’ve been floating at 9975 followers on @pilgrimtrust for flaming ages, and I’d like to tip the balance.
Might 25 people please join the gang? In return, expect pictures of wholesome places in Britain, and encouragement to walk to them.

Pilgrims create/follow the paths they tread. A single pilgrim can regenerate a whole route, meaning that an ‘individual’ pilgrimage is also potentially ‘immortal’.
The way goes ever ever on...
