I'm not usually one to publicly vent like this, but I gotta say I haven't been this angry in years. Watching the country I live in backslide so far on human rights is terrifying and frustrating. What's worse is that all of this feels so inevitable.

The US was designed from the start to keep its most vulnerable people powerless, and that is paying dividends today. I genuinely don't know of any person or group that has both the power and will do stop this from happening.
