Almost 5 full pages of the GOP changes are nothing but striking the word 'MAGA' and inserting the word 'Trump.' (I'm not kidding)

I strongly support Derek Chauvin being pardoned and released from prison. George Floyd died of a drug overdose.

The Trump Tariff Tax is the largest peacetime tax hike in U.S. history. These Tariffs are nearly 10x the size of those imposed during the Trump-Pence Administration and will cost American families over $3,500 per year. Check Out“Spoiling America’s Golden Age”@AmericanFreedom 👇

Oh for God's sake, the administration has already confirmed the authenticity of the message.
. @SecDef response to the @TheAtlantic article…. “You’re talking about a deceitful and highly discredited “so-called journalist”
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
A spokesperson for the National Security Council, Brian Hughes, confirmed the authenticity of the group chat to which Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, was inadvertently added. x.com/JenGriffinFNC/… nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna1… usatoday.com/story/news/pol… reuters.com/world/us/top-t… lemonde.fr/en/united-stat…

An email last night to all Health & Human Services employees, including CDC, tells them to disregard the “What did you do last week?” email and ends with this harrowing warning, “Assume what you write will be viewed by malign foreign actors and tailor your response accordingly.”

Breaking; President Donald Trump has declined Georgia's request to extend the deadline for federal disaster assistance applications related to Hurricane Helene. Georgia House Speaker Jon Burns and Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper had urged the president to consider an extension, citing ongoing recovery challenges. #HurricaneHelene, which struck the Southeast last September, caused an estimated $5.5 billion in damage to Georgia’s agriculture and forestry sectors alone. #gapol

The @AP – one of the few completely independent national news orgs – said it is being barred from Oval Office access because it did not change its AP Style guidance to call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America. Incredibly alarming for press freedom. ap.org/the-definitive-source…

This is true. The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified in 1868, long after the founding fathers were gone — but via the process that they proscribed. It was an antidote to the U.S. Supreme Court decision that declared Dred Scott and his people to be non-citizens.
Babin: No way in heck did the founding fathers, the congress of 1868 ever intend for illegal immigrants to come sneaking into our country, or birth tourism to millionaires from China and elsewhere coming in to have these babies and have these babies become citizens

The legal academy lost one of our rising stars last night in the DCA crash. Kiah Duggins was budding legal scholar and set to begin her career as a law professor at Howard University this fall. Devastatingly sad news. May God’s boundless compassion console those who mourn.

Billionaire Elon Musk gave what appeared to be a fascist salute Monday while making a speech at the post-inauguration celebration for President Donald Trump at the Capital One Arena. “Some elections are important, some are not. But this one, this one really mattered and I just want to say thank you for making it happen,” Musk said before putting his hand on his chest and then raising it in a salute that appeared similar to the “Sieg Heil” used by Nazis at their victory rallies. “It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured," Musk said. Trump named Musk and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy to lead the "Department of Government Efficiency," an outside commission aimed at identifying federal programs and spending to cut. After Trump was sworn in, multiple lawsuits were filed against the Trump administration claiming that the move violates federal transparency laws.

This is an important and responsible response. Poultry is one of our top industries. And we in Georgia are an important part of the overall food supply in America. It’s also one of our top agricultural exports.
Today, we confirmed the first positive case of HPAI in a commercial poultry operation in Elbert County. As a result, all poultry activities - exhibitions, shows, swaps, and sales -  in Georgia are suspended until further notice. GDA staff are currently onsite at the affected premises working to mitigate any spread of the disease and minimize the impact to Georgia’s #1 industry.
