So much still to improve (independence is vital) but devolution has been an evident success (unless you are against a more caring, fairer society). Anyone telling you otherwise is wrong or lying.
The Tories don’t have Scotland’s best interests at heart, they have England’s.
Everywhere you look there is evidence devolution has failed. In education, in health, in transport, in drugs policy. The Scottish establishment, however, would rather the failure continued than concede they were wrong.
Kemi Badenoch has other ideas.

It’s baffling to me that no one in the UK is as obsessed by Shoresy as I am. Feel like I’m marooned on an island with this take but it’s the TV show that makes me feel *like crazy*. It’s my naughty, happy place that tugs these heartstrings so much.

Anyone with a democratic bone in their body must know that by not even stating HOW Scotland can gain independence, Westminster is being undemocratic.
As humans we have to be able to make our own choices - even if those around us think they’re a mistake / don’t like our choices.
Really enjoyed season 2 of Chad Powers…
Season 1 was fun, and glossy, and silly, but season had lots of creative differences that you rarely see - departure to a grainy and mostly filmed in-shadows aesthetic.
I guess they’re trying to say “we’re a serious comedy”?
It’s more than good enough as it is right now. Hugely encouraging at least three of the big American AI CEOs are saying as much. Imagine if we could see international agreement.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.

Dire Straits - Tunnel of Love playing in the background of a romantic scene in modern TV show such as Chad Powers amazes me. The staying power of the music my Dad listened to in the 90s on car drives is heartwarming.
INJECT IT INTO MY VEINS
Time to get back to it.

Why do so many parents drop off before booking? Usually, it’s friction. Every extra login, unclear step, or payment hiccup costs attendance. Keep the booking path obvious, fast, and simple from the first click.

There's been a mix-up and my friend would like to swap his 4pm Daniel Sloss ticket this for Saturday 15th August for an 8pm one (which is sold out).
Has anyone got an 8pm ticket they'd sell, or swap for a 4pm? Pretty please and thanks!

Whoever gets to making this as a Halloween costume first is going to find themselves a very rich taker of all my money.
Have you been watching Shoresy, @craighorlbeck? This could easily speak more about how much I love it, but the two times you said “little cutie” in the most recent episode sounded inspired by Shoresy talking about Miigwan 👌🫶

The end of The Bear was revelatory.
I can’t understand the instant criticism I saw last night.
This show made me feel like CRAZY all the way through. It’s not without flaws, but it was of an exceptional standard, finished beautifully - I loved it (every second counts) and s5.
